Growing with an HPS Floodlight

yeah so just a thread for everyone to share what they know about growing with an HPS Floodlight.

Easier to obtain it can be argued and also cheaper... i found a 250 watt one for £40

but yeh, anyone know if they yeild a nice crop in the budding stage?

An HPS is a HPS doesn't matter what purpose it's originally sold for they all grow the same. Take it out of its fixture and make a better reflector though... And if the bulb isn't new, replace it.

easy to use. i have a few 100 watt flood lights that are hps. they were simple i took extension cors and just put white to white green to green and black to black. and they work great. im not sure how energy efficiant they are though
