I Hand water the first week until the roots hit the bottom of the cube. I also slice an X on the bottom of the cubes, this shiz holds lots of water. I also use a coco mat with the cubes, when the roots hit the bottom i flood 1x per veg... then about 2nd week of flower i flood 2x daily. When i use the gro rocks i flood 3-4 times. Next run i will be flooding coco, i hand watered and that shiz aint no fun for me.

I use four inch cubes and clay rocks in pots on an ebb and flow system and use a timer to flood the table for fifteen minutes every other hour. It allows air to get to the roots. running water would give you root rot for real. If I understand the question.

Hugo block i.e 6in blocks hold a bit of water so when your plants are young flood x2 during lights on
and once in late veg and bloom flood x3 during light on. How long to flood will depend on how long it
takes to fill the table during flooding.
