growing with 50/50 coco/soil blend

I can't find much online about this. I'm about 3 weeks in to my first grow and transplanted my clones from red cups straight to 5 gallon buckets with a 50/50 blend of soil/coco. The plants seem happy and are growing, but I'm concerned because I haven't fed them in a week due to the fact that the growing medium is still moist and retaining its last feed well. I'm worried that this big gap between feeds won't give the plant enough nutrients. Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

i have done a lot of experimenting with coco-soil mixes. if you did exactly 1:1 ratio of soil and coco your probably going to run into over watering problems. if you were to add 1 part perlite to the mix you would have a medium that will drain way better so you can water more often without taking all the oxygen away form the roots. coco holds a SHIT LOAD of water. also what kind of soil did you use?

Coco like peat holds serious water ...hence nutes, this is an ideal desert grow mix, but for more temperate climes is seriously toxic, yeah replace that coco for perlite or river sand to have a more balance and aerated mix, and avoid any feeding for 2-3 weeks theres enough in the mix ...good luck
