Hi, Just wondering if my first grow plan is viable and hope ye can help me.

I want to grow just one plant for personal use, i intent to use a 150w envirolite CFL http://www.bosslighting.co.uk/shop/index.html?target=dept_67.html

Im trying to keep the grow as small and as stealthy as possible so going to swith to 12/12 after the plant is about 15 inches.

Im hoping using just one light will keep the heat low so i wont need complex fans etc...will use just a basic fan to keep air moving but thats it. I know i probably will eventually need a propper one with a carbon filter for odur contro, but if i can avoid this i will!

Can anyone tell me if this is viable? Thanks in advance!

P.S. I used feminised powerplant seeds i got from dutch passion and and hesi nutrients.

yes it is...to a degree....because for the ideal set-up you will need supplemental lighting as the plant grows....the easiest way to acheve this is by getting 4 more 42 watt cfl's for side lighting....low heat and low cost energy wise....because keeping it at 15 inches during veg is nuthing...because during flower it'll triple that...so yeah a few more bulbs wouldnt hurt

Cool thanks, have a few other CFLs i was going to use for the sides alright when it gets big. Still a bit worried about odur control tho...

what you could do for odor control is buy aquarium activated carbon pellets...and strap it to a fan...and voila....no funk...besides you only need to really worry about smell when the buds start forming....about 2 to 3 weeks into flowering

oh and p.s,you should put ALL the lights on your plant NOW.....just switch light cycles when you ready to flower...peace and smoke on

you can go with pretty small cfl setup, and still get worth while results
this pic is from a setup using just 78w of cfl's, smell is almost non existent - nl#5 don't smell
