growing while away?

so i will be away for a week soon and i just had a few questions...

1.) how can i make sure my house doesn't catch on fire from some electric malfunction occurring inside my grow room? (the grow is in a wooden cabinet)

2.) i will have a cool tube (for 2 65 watt cfls) but how can i control my plants growth so they do not get to high? i was thinking a scrog screen would work but were would the plants grow and wouldnt that cause stress?

basically this sucks because i will be away for a whole week and no one will be present at my home so i dont want it to be burnt down while im enjoying my trip. some one please enlighten me. all help is greatly appreciated. thanks guys

use timers if you are worried

They make a timer that resets itself if the power goes off but as far as light adjustment I dont know hat to tell you.Ive left for 3 days and thats about as long as Im willing to risk a fire or buglery............Peace

fire safety is something that seems to be overlooked by many here
it may not be practical now, but think about replacing that wood chamber
building a chamber out of sheet rock is much more fire resistant than wood
