From what I understand, fruiting bodies such as tomoatoes and Strawberries can be done upside down, but for flowering plants such as cannabis, the hormones react in relation to the top and the bottom of the plant. This is why you can LST or top and get more colas.

Depends on where the light is. Strawberries and (I believe) some types of tomatoes will trail, but pot always grows toward the light (phototropism). If you have the balls to put your lights beneath the plant it'll likely work. Either that, or breed a plant with a trailing growth habit.

Now don't quote me on this, but i have seen a cabinet that is a rotating cylinder with a light in the center of it. the wheel as they say goes round the light with the plants on the inner side of the wheel. This is similar to growing upside down....i will try and find a pic and come back and post it. Looks great from what i remember..

I'm quite familiar with it....and I still see no advantage. Cramped growing room aside. It's an oddity, that's all...which is okay.

idk but the few buds that he would get from those upside done plants
he could have just vegged 1 or 2 extra weeks on the lower plants and get what he wanted form the upper plants without having plants hanging

It's a different way to grow...but it isn't better, nor equal.....

Hey, if you want to play with it...go for it. But for every one grown upside down.... you are losing potential.
