Ok well i started to grow 4 plants indoors a few months back but due to living with my mum i have now decided to grow outside.
I live in england so the weather is not perfect :(
I really dont have a clue about growing outside..what time of the year is best? How do i control pests?

My biggest fear is probably animals...like fox's, cats, birds ect...

i wont be able to grow in my garden as i have nosey neighbors and that would be just as bad as growing in the house...if not worse.

So what would you recommend?

How many of you have successfully grown outside in england?

any help will be appreciated :)

thanks

at this time of year youve got no chance with the heavy wind, rain and cold!in the summer its possible but its very rare for ppl to grow ganja in this country outside but coz of global warming summers here are are getting longer and hotter so i think it'll get easier to grow outside here!but if you cant grow inside or outside in ya garden you'd obviously havto grow in a field somewhere but then someone could find ya plants and take um!shame ya mum aint cool with it or you dont have ya own gaff!

i should have made myself a bit clearer
i know the basics like i would have to wait, i just wasnt sure if i should be planting in spring and waiting till summers over or if i would be better of waiting till like half way thru the summer so it dont take as long.

yup evil is spot on...
there are a bunch of grow journals dotted over the web that are from ppl growing outside in the uk.
a buddy of mine in the UK vegged the seedlings indoors til they were bout 4-6" then went guerilla grow stylee and stuck em in the corner of a field he knew of.
They will prolly take a lil longer outside, esp if the weather is inconsistent but he has always gotten killer results.
You need to try n get a fix on the expected weather forecast for this yr..do some reasearch on the best time to plant

You ever thought bout using a greenhouse in your garden, you could stick that frosted glass type opaque film on the side where the neighbor is to obscure their view.

I think I'd pick the strains that flower fastest or maybe lowlifes auto strains, for a lil added stealth if theyre in a field ppl are less likely to pay attention to some lil plants, rather than some 6ft monsters..

ata tundra from seedsman seeds is a cross from an alaskan strain good in cold climates and quick 6 week flowerer. Good 4 outdoor growing

I'm going to try outdoors in the UK this summer, small scales guerilla stylee. I'm scouting out plots already and have some in mind.

The satelite mapping images on live.com makes remote investigation of possible grow sites very easy. I have a couple of spots picked out already that I am thinking about. Prob plant out in later may/early june. Looking to find a strain that will finish late sep/early october.

It's a total gamble with the weather, like someone else said, if we have a summer like last year then you'd be fucked! But I'll be keeping my indoor grows going, so this will just be a little side project/experiment to see how it goes.

i say go for the ata tundra 6week flower and is some good bud. The quicker to flower more chances of it surving.
Yeah man, that's the sort of thing I'm looking for. Thanks. Looks perfect actually. A lot of the other early finishers are not that high in THC. But I see the Ata Tundra does not have that problem!
