Growing outdoors with pots, Keep rain water out?

ok, I have a question about rain watering the plants, if I where to go and water my plants everday, would rain cause them to be way over watered? Do I need to keep rainwater out of the pot?

Know the weather. go to weather.com and anticipate your local weather. Plus you dont need to water everyday for outdoors. unless it is extremely hot.

If it has been raining I normally dont water my plant. I'd prefer to give it the 100% natural water, without chlorine and shit in it that tap water has.
