Growing Indoor With Lights and also Sunlight

I am doing an indoor closet grow under cfl lights 7x 45watt bulbs. There is also 4 hours of direct sunlight coming in through a big 10 x 10 ft window.

I know nothing beats the sun so I want to keep the plants under the clf's most of the time then for 4 hours put them in the direct sunlight coming through the window so I am not going to put them outside, same room just in the sun light then back under the cfl's right before the direct sunlight goes.

Room temp, humidity ect.. stays same only the light

Will those 4 hours of direct sunlight help or will that shock the plant?

my dog did it too. but with different lights.but the sun def did not hurt.but they have to be old enough,so no seedlings + try 1hour sunlight first, then 2hrs...just to go sure.some strains are more sensitive

I put 'em in full sun as soon as they pop. I move 'em indoors under a 4' fluorescent at night. I just make sure they don't dry out.

Definitely give your plants all the sunlight they can get. CFLs are OK but they don't quite do the job when it comes to getting the bigger, tighter buds. I knew a guy who grew a plant in his dorm room with just light from a window. He never flowered it but it was healthy enough as long as it got a couple hours of direct sun from the window.
