growing in small pots

hey if i grew a plant in a small 2inch pot and never transplanted would i grow a miniature plant and get a few buds off it?

Yeah it would prob die. The roots will continue to grow and eventually contrict themsleves so they cant absorb nutrients. If you want to keep it minature, you can but you have to trim the roots and prune the plant. But if you prun the plant and there is bud on them you will cut the bud off trying to keep them minature. However i guess if you trim the roots and plant just before flowering, it will keep the plant smaller than usual but still need a bigger pot than 2"

Hey X..

water pH, Nutrients and oxygen will be key... If you use a good mixture of perlite and soil.. Like 50/50 you should be able to pull it off... But if you are going to go through the trouble and risk of growing ganja you should at least use a 3 gallon container.

Do you really think he can keep a flowerin plant in a 2inch pot. Mine are still in veg n i'm tryin to keep them small. They outgrew my 4" pot and started turning yellow so had to transplant. now in 6" pots but no way will they be able to stay in there through flowering. Also im only feeding weak nutes once a month to slow growth down

i have a bunch of plants im only going to put one or two outside and im going to put them in big pots. i was just going to experiment with a couple plants that arnt going outside me and my friend were talking about bonzi trees and thought it would be fun to have a miniture pot plant

well, I have seen hundreds of plants flowered in 4 inch rockwool cubes.. I think there is a great explanation on how to do this with SHIT loads of pictures in one of Ed Rosenthals books.

my buddy uses 6" rockwool cubes. 3 weeks vegging clones under 2000w then an 8 week flower cycle. the roots never come out of the cubes.

thanks entropic couldnt find it without you and it has all the information i need. they grew some awsome plants in 16oz cups.
