Growing in hot weather

I live in texas and everyday the weather is over 100F. Is that too hot for the plants or is that actually good?

it depends how big the plants are..if their during flowering,its probably very good.

No...........very simple answer.
no such thing as to hot when growing outdoors,just dont water during the heat of the day,give them a good watering at night and they will be fine

Your fine just grow as normal, I know people who grow's in climates as high as 120 degrees

They're resilient plants, you'll be fine. Mine are outside in a greenhouse doing great in that same heat. Like stated above, watering in the evening is key in really hot weather. I love Texas but these triple digit summers are rough. Good luck man.

why water at night?

not good to water at night! (imo) most insects come out at night & they like wet places. watering right before sun rise is perfect, and will dry the top of the soil by sunset.

Thread is years old, why the bump?

Plants can handle the heat fine long as they have enough water. And there is no reason not to water during the day. If they need water, give it to them

I grow indoors in Arizona where the average daytime temp in the summer is anywhere from 105 to 120 everyday. What a challenge but with a good a/c and a totally sealed and insulated room you can make it happen. Just think about what you are dealing with when building your room..
