growing in a refrigerator

well guys its been a while since my last update but it is coming soon as well as pix, i have to wait for the almighty tax check in order to buy more materials to finish. one thing that i have noticed with this closed system is that the humidity tends to be a bit high. i have not decided what i am going to do to remedy this problem but i am working on a solution. i still need a bulb for the 400w balast, and i need to get the big draft inducer to pull enough air through the cooltube. i have to also have fans for the bud chamber and i have to construct the hydro system underneath. i think i should have all this done by the 15th of february and i will have full updates. so till then thanks for viewing.

I won’t say it’s the best solution by any means but something at least temporary until you find a better solution might be products like damp-away. It’s just basically like the stuff that is fake road/sidewalk salt, the chemical melter stuff. They put it or something close to it but it will work on its own into a two part container, sort of like a plastic mesh screen inside a regular plastic container sort of like a large butter tub and the material draws moisture and it drips through into the bottom and you drain it off now and then. I always put a couple in my boat in the winter to keep from having mildew problems and many people in humid areas use them in closets where the air doesn’t circulate so they don’t end up with gunk/mold growing on their shoes and stuff. Any hardware store should have them and if not a boating supply place would have them for sure.

Again it might just be a Band-Aid but it would work until something better comes along if you’re having a problem that you need to deal with right away and either don’t know what to do yet or don’t have much cash to use at the moment.

yes very nice setup, the only soda in that fridge is toka cola haha. like the frige idea man, i'll keep my eye on this journal.

thats sweet. Pretty much what im going for. Ive got the exact same fridge type(old and thin) thats open like that. Im using a 200 to 300 watt cfl with passive exaust and filter. What size light are you using? i wanna have just a shelf of 16oz cup clones, a beautiful sea of green
