Growing in a cardboard wardrobe box? Is it safe?

I was doing my budget trying to find a way to cut some costs. I came across wardrobe boxes for moving, like the ones you can can clothes on. They're a 2x2 and 45" tall. I had the plan to buy 2 of them and then stack them. The bottom one wouldn't have the hanging bar across it, I would super glue the folding upper panels of the bottom box to the inside of the top box. I know these boxes are really sturdy so I'm not worried about structural integrity, however they are made of cardboard and cardboard has a history of being flammable. I'm at any risk here? What if I use LED lights?

My potential plan is the use the stacked boxes and cut out a small hole for me to get into it, seal all the corners and holes up with tape, tape the inside of the boxes with the special reflective tape from home depot, and then use LED lights, fan, and carbon filter hanging from the cross bar on the top box. If I need some structural integrity down low I can always make holes and put the cross bar in the bottom section as well, maybe work off of it to make a SCROG setup or something.

Any concerns you have for me before I get into it? Will this type of grow room work? Has this kind off thing been done before? Any help is appreciated.

Crazy glue is toxic poison. Heat from the grow will slowly release it and kill you and the plants. The cardboard will also burn down one day from some other wierd idea I'm sure you'll have in the future. LOL You're better off buying some cheap ass plywood panels and 2x2 wood and some screws from the hardware store and build something that wont fall down if you piss on it.

Cardboard, electricity, and water? Shouldn't be a problem, I'd go HID if growing in a cardboard box. They're cheaper than LED so that'll free up some cash for the special tape, super glue, and new batteries for the smoke alarms.

Humidity and cardboard don't do so hot together ......I start my beans for my greenhouses in huge cardboard boxes with a clear plastic cover.....the box is literally ruined by the time I take my seedlings out to harden off and plant .....that's usually 10 days at longest ....plus the fire factor mentioned above ....I'd say no, or make sure your insurance is paid up before you start.

I'm paranoid about my solid oak cabinet and going to install an automatic fire extinguisher.
