Growing has changed

It's really not that hard to meet your needs. Sounds like you want economy and simplicity, so you'll be growing in soil? That's what I do, although I'm under LED/COB lights. If you grow 4 plants and get even a modest 3 oz per plant, and do two runs between October and May, that's 24oz. Around the second or third week in May, put a couple in the ground outside if you can, even a pair coming in at "only" 8oz each would cover the rest of your needs and you won't need to deal with the heat issues of a summer indoor.

If you have room and budget for two spaces and can set up a perpetual grow like ttystikk suggests, that is a great way to go. I never have, I have two small spaces but always seem to get my clones all at once and run through in waves. There are a lot of ways to go about this, and many roads will get you where you want to be.

Well, made the mistake of stopping by the organics store today. Got a Gavita 600e SE for $200. It was a return, had a bad bulb and the guy thought the ballast was bad. Anyone have any experience with it or heard anything about their quality? People at the store raved about them for the price.

Isn't been a vet and getting stoned a bit dangerous? I know if I took my cat for a bit of 'man' treatment and the vet came out red eyed and giggling his nuts off I'd seriously doubt his ability to cut off the boys crackers! Well done on achieving such a great job whilst been disabled too, thats inspiration for most of the sponging turds we get here who just moan constantly they aren't getting enough cash from the tax payers

If you want HPS lighting, that's top of the line.

see the part in the name that says SE, it stands for single ended, you should take it back and tell them you want a Double ended gavita. you'll pay a little more, but it will be well worth it. OR, I would look at the Nanolux 315 lec,

What is the difference in single and double ended?

ttystikk - I am all of the above also. I grew for a couple of years and loved it, but got divorced and the BIATCH took everything. I had some great strains and did a little breeding. Crossed a Chernobyl with Medicine Woman and had a great smoke.....but everything was lost. I gave up on growing, but continued smoking. With Oregon being legal I figured it was time to start growing again. Mainly been a flower and hash guy, but lately I have fallen in love with dab. Also getting into the edibles. Love me some special gummies in the morning.
