Cool. She sounds like a nice plant. I found a Lavender by Soma seeds on google, no idea if its the same. I've heard stories of some other old purple strain out of the triangle with the same name.

I got them as clones from a dispensary in Redding. I was told they are the GSC from Cali Connection. Smaller leafs, big and bushy plants.... Ill post some close ups tomorrow.

@TWS Hell yeah man, I like the size of that purple kush of his. That's about the height I am shooting for next year with the diameter of mine this year :)
View attachment 2761645Took clones yesterday at dawn. I also got some blueprints for my greenhouse for Winter/Spring Crop and early start on my outdoors for 2014.
Shits getting serious bongsmilie
Hey had a question do you use a humidity dome on your clones? Just wondering cause recently i been having mold issues with clones in the dome too much heat and humidity so i tried cloning without it and they did amazing...They did take a few extras days but everyone rooted and no mold issue...

No dome, I found they don't really like all that humidity. I use power clone and anti wilt spray once and heating pad. Usually 100% root. Speaking of, I need to check up on them lol

Which cut do you have? Is it slow growing? I grew the original cut (clone from the bay area, before all these fake GSC starting popping up everywhere) 2 years back and growth rate was pretty slow. This pheno had lots of purple in it (without cool temp). Two years later (currently), I'm running a different cut of GSC (again) and it too is painfully slow. I hate growing GSC now.

Try Cali Connect seeds GSC, my buddy is and they look exactly like mine. I don't really know or care about the GSC hype, but this plant grows very well for me.

Wow dude that thing is fucking huge!
so you give them like 25 / 15 gallons of water when you water? I think I saw that a few pages back.
i only have one big one and I give her 3 gallons just about every morning or I'll wait till sunset and do the 3 gallons.
my question is though should I be doing more water say like 10 gallons?
then probley only do that like every other day?

Thanks man,
It really depends on how much she needs, Is she in the ground? if she is I would do 5gal and see how long it takes her to dry out. If in a container I wouldn't increase water unless needed. Overwatering is a very easy thing to do, and not good for growth.

Nice. My first GSC cut was around that size but took forever to get there (3.5 months total veg with 1 month indoor veg time). I'm more used to seeing 2-2.5 months with different strains. The GSC cut I got right now is even worse. I put it out late (just the beginning of last month) and is very slow growing. To make matters worst, with the way the crazy ass weather is this year, we had crazy high wind last night and these were the results:

Broken.jpgBroken (1).jpgBroken (2).jpgBroken (3).jpg Broken (4).jpg

These were put out 1.5 weeks after the GSC and are now triple the GSC size. Same nute, same soil, same size hole, same amount of water, same everything, just different strain.

Not Broken.jpg

I never had any reason to buy GSC seed because I get unlimited cuttings from people I know, for free. Unfortunately, I do not know how they grow it and it's true genetics. Next time if I do decide to do another run of GSC, I'll start from seed from CC. Thanks.

rows of budz just like mcdonalds would say "I'm Lovin It!" my gsc from seed is small leaves already flowerin we lost some branches off one of them but that just happens the winds bastard sometimes plus I never topped it till later so they all didn't turn into beautiful bushes like I see, but they all got a more sativia look and all have been flowering earlier then the others who are just starting to flower but she never was really a slow grower, she beasted, I had one that was a little behind from the others from seed gsc I had, my neighbor asked if he could have her cause he wanted some gsc , well I went down to see him and she has beasted up shes pretty big long side branches just beefy as shit heres a pic of one of them taken 2 weeks ago I thinkP07-23-13_15-02[2].jpg

LOL. Both cut I've grown were sativa dominant too. The first cut I had (in 2011) looked very similar to the one in your picture. Around the same size too. The current cut looks nothing like the one before it. It's kind of pale yellow too, whereas my SC, PD, BK, MK, and GDP are lush and dark green. I usually grow side-by-side, 4-5, sometimes 9-10, different stains at once and in every single grow, other strain seems to always grow better and faster than the GSC, which leaded me to think that maybe GSC is just a slow growing strain. The only difference is, all other strains were grown by me from seed or clones from my own mother plant, which was grown from seed. Every GSC plant I've grown were clones grown from another grower which also leads me to think they probably have the inferior phenotype or is growing it shit-ly (if that's even a word). Who knows... No more free GSC clones for me, only seeds from now on.

Sorry about the blabbering, she's a beast. You should thank your neighbor for his time and effort, then snatch your plant back. LOL. J/K.

Lost some branches to the winds also early on, used good ole DIY 8ft stakes and simple garden tie, no issues with the winds since. Just two big girls 13 ft & 15 ft
