growing dank in cramped spaces!

so, i finally went and did it. converted half my closet into an enclosed grow space, instead of two giant cfls hanging behind a curtain i now have a nice little wooden cabinet. thanks to all the helpful people and info from this site (this big project all started with learning to wire an electrical outlet ;-)) i may finally grow some good nuggets! the box is 6 foot tall and four foot wide and twenty inches deep. the veg chamber is 2 ft tall with 4 4ft flouros and the flowering area is four feet tall with a 400 watt enclosed hps. it pretty much fits snugly inside one half of my closet. i was hoping to get some tips from some other stealth "closet" growers. i haven't figured out the ventilation issues yet, im thinking i gotta somehow run the hot air into my attic or something. prob is 4 of 6 sides are right against a wall or door. i want to order seeds but i am not sure what a good strain would be for such a tiny space. i was thinking i should try LST to maximize my space? i like the sativa up high but i know indicas stay shorter so im thinking maybe a hybrid would work? im planning on growing in 1/2 perlite, 1/2 ocean forest, tried hydro n its not really my thing. im trying to get everything right this time- before i start my next try at growing. so comments criticism anything would be nice!

Sweet, I surely am jealous!
LST would maximize your yields.
If you can get a tube with a fan, you can use that as ventilation.
You can get that uplifting high with indicas. I recommend a hybrid though. Just harvest when the trichs are cloudy. Worked for me!

Oh yeah, HAPPY GROWING!

what do you mean, tube with a fan? the enclosed light has a fan i just need to figure out where to blow then hot air and through what. i heard that silver duct stuff is noisy and i need stealth! i understand the plants also need ventilation to exchange carbon/oxygen, i got a bathroom fan hoping i can somehow rig that up?? its only 50cfm and my space is 32 cubic feet- do you think thats enough since the light is vented seperatly? then i have to figure out how to create airflow on the plants to give them strong stems. and i thought building the box would be the hardest part! on a funny stoner note... we built the box to fit inside the closet, carried the huge heavy ass thing up two flights of stairs only to realize it wouldn't fit through the closet doors!! so we had to completly take it apart and re assemble it inside the closet :)
oh and i didnt realize u could get that "up" high from an indica. i def need to get some kind of magnifyin device! i still havent ordered seeds either cuz i cant decide what strain to pick. there are like about 8 million dif ones and they all say they're the best :)

You can use a bathroom fan and that metal ducting and put it into your attic, but you might check to see if your attic is vented or sealed. If it's sealed, you'll get mold from the humid air being pumped in. The fan is going to be the loudest part of your ventilation, I wouldn't worry about the metal ducting. Keep it straight as possible and it won't make a peep. On your fan, look for a Sone rating. This is the noise level, and for stealth you'll want a low number. I have a 1 sone fan and you can't hear it running while your in the room with it. I keep manually checking it to see if it's working. You'll also need to carefully consider where to place your intake. You'll need a light trap to keep it stealth.

the intake will be on the bottom on the left side, the only side not up against a wall. i already figured out how to make a light trap, it doesn't seem too hard. and yes my attic is vented, just like little slats on eash side. i just checked the fan and its 4 sones- way too loud! i guess i gotta return it and get a dif one. i walked around home depot for hours and thats the best i could find i guess i need to go somewhere else? im going to go take a few pics of my set up thus far... and thanks for all the advice guys i couldnt do it without ya! ;)

so i gotta pic of my closet turned grow room... its 6 ft tall and four foot wide inside. not quite light proof yet but working on it! i still have cfls inside since i havent gotten the whole ventilation thing down yet. a pic of my crappy little hydro set up... my poor plants have been through a lot but they just keep on kicking :) they are skunk passion 8 weeks flowering. third pic is a close up... when i get my hps in there im going back to soil growing.
