Growing big with maintman

Ok so for those of you who didn't see the other grow, this is my second atempt at a Mblaze monster grow, modified begining because I don't have access to clones as he does.

So here goes: setup a 4w 7t 14l stealth room fitted with 3 digital 600 watt digital lumatek balasted hps units running growbrite bulbs. A 6 inch inline fan which will soon be routing warm air throuought the house by connecting it to the ac venting and tada freeish heat in winter lol still would be paying for the power! Optionable cool air intake from outside for bloom to really get the temps low at "night" which is actually my day so the temps can stay more even throuought the winter. And in summer makes keeping things cool w all lights on much more manageable.

We will be growing in coco coir from gen hydro hydrated in the manner depicted in the pics from my last grow. Mg pearlite also washed to remove most nutes that are in the p lite. Ultimately we will be using12 gal pots and be implimenting a watering system this time with 2 30 gal res one fresh and one nute water( though the first few weeks will be hand water run to waste) trust me when it gets to the point when u have 4-6 big girls to water and no help with watering or a neet way of "auto removing the water" like mblaze gravity garden feeder. You will undestand the benifit of having at least one thing be "automated" to where u don't have to physically do it. Since I brought it up, I too will be removing my runnoff water with the aid of a pump and timer to remove the waste water from the catch once the runnoff has ceased.

I will be using botanicare pure blend pro gro and bloom as my base as well as a silica blast from botanicare as well. Monster grow in veg and monster bloom in flower. Humbolts benificials in veg and prob a cal mag suppliment as well, I didn't try this last time but am going to this time, use a hormone increasing agent like sensa spray durring transition. molasses overdrive and snowstorm in the end.

I will veg for 8 weeks once all my clones and seeds have rooted. I will be transplanting into larger 12 gals from initial 2 gal after I see the roots reach the bottoms of the 2 gals bc my las grow the transplant left them in there smaller 2 gal rotballs and they never spread like the shoulda. I have transluent pots taped on the sides and most of bottom to block llight but don't want the root bind probs as before.

I have germinated 3 northern lights and placed them in freshly hydrated coco I have one othe Ben that I hope has opoed bybthe time I get home . I also had two of my clones show roots so they went in as well. The clones are my own personal strain dc1 and rooty tootie. I have 5 other dc1 clones and a white rhino to plant as well and hopefully within a week I'll have my 6 deffinite girls going and the hopes of 2-3 nl fems in the mix too.

I should probably clarify before someone says " hey u said that u didn't have access to clones then in ur next post unsay u have clones rooting" I do not have access to unflowered clones as I only run one cycle at a time now ( trying both in my space and keeping it stealth is not do able now but hopefully by the time these girls go to bud I'll be able to keep some mothers going to have a perpetual big grow with 4 in veg and 4 in bud always)

The clones I have are cuttings from the recently chopped plants that have been soaking in 6.2 ph water and coated with rooting powder. I have heard people say bad things about revegged clones but I can ashure u that the times I've done it in the past the smoke always got better.

Also this is an open thread I'm interested in feedback and questions as well as questions on the othr grow

Ok, so I'm running a bit behind in my efforts to back to back big grows, the humidity droped out of my basement in a hurry and I'm still waiting on my clones to show roots. The 3 nl seeds I started didn't take well to the low humidity and only one lives (50/50) I started the 5 remaining. White rhino seeds and 4 germed I plants them 2 days ago so hopefully in a couple days they will be up n going. I nought a evaporative type humidifier and the humidity has risen to 50 % and holding with lights on and a bit higher with em off. Ima take some time to re- enclose the ceiling in the room to trap a lttle more heat n humidity, I'm also going to relocate my balasts so that I have no issues with moisture damage.

So right now i have in my medicinal garden a nothern lights and 4 white rhino and one rooted dc1 clone and a rootie tootie clone which i believe that I have identified as the forbiden fruit a light of jah relative. I have 1 white rhino and 5-6 more dc1 clones I want to root. I looked up a little more on cloning last night and if what I've tried with my now lower oh and the increased humidity I hope that they root in a few days. If not Ima hit up u fine individuals .

I'd lie to have 10 girls going this time bc I'm going to expand a little when transition time comes and I want to keep on plant vegging for 4-5 months and flower as a yeild test also I may do a 3 month too. I want at least one more 600 and 50% more space so Incan get my perpetual big grow going.

I'm also considering going back to the seedshop n getting a few more beans to work with.
I'm Gonna cruise the site a bit hit me up with any questions I'll hav pics up soon

I know I promised pics and I do apologised. I have not taken this grow serious until now and it's cost me! I'm awaiting the arrival of some new genetics to start over with... But I will end up with my 2 elbs as I did this time but in one less month! Ima start alot and keep all fems veg for 5 weeks then bud for 8-9 if I get 15 fems I should be able to get 2 oz per with 5 weeks veg no prob and I suspect a little more! Humidity is not my friend now to say the least! I had to shrink my area and am running 2 evaporative type humidifiers to get humidity to 65% so I don't keep loosing my seedlings and any more clones

well hopefully im not jinxing anything by talking about my recent endeavors. if you read the other posts you will know that i am way behind and have lost alot of seedlings and all clones!, i went back to the drawing board and got some seeds from marijuana seeds nl i got there classic pack and a pack of 10 thc bomb seeds as well. I decided to germ 7 of the 10 of each strain: big bud, northern lights, bubblegum, and the thc bomb. of the 28 seeds 27 germinated( this time i did the plate method with towels and i put the plat in top of my ps3 to keep em warm. i did loose 1 northern lights though bc it grew through the towel and broke when i went to plant.

i built myself 2 humidity domes to house the seedlings in there 12 oz cups until i see roots in the bottoms of cups or the development of a second set of leaves, i havent had any seeds last past a few days so far but i do have 4 seeds that i started while waiting for the new stock that are still alive and show signs of stretching and leaf growth which is the best ive seen this go round.

my humidity domes are keeping it about 63-65 % humidity and ive switched my setup to where i am running a 600 watt light under a plywood table on top of which the seedlings are sitting now. i know your like why is the light under the table and plants on top...well that light is for heat, to keep the seedlings from getting to cold here in the beginning of winter (which was another prob) right now the temp at the bottom of the catch is 82deg so my seedlings are doing good temp wise. i re-calibrated my ph meter and lowered my waters ph to 5.6 and phed my runoff and tested the ppm of runoff too, all look good.

the good news..i have 3 thc bomb seeds that have broke ground after only a day so like they said it seems it will grow super fast.

o yeah i have a 400 watt hps hanging about 3 ft above the seedlings and humidity domes with no reflector and the light readings near the seedlings is much lower than it was when i first started back with my 600 and the reflector 4 1/2 ft above them(ya that was stupid i know)

Well good news is still in the house of maint. I awoke from my daily rest to check the temps and humidity in my room I found that the 4 previously sprouted unknowns have shown growth and the beginings of more leaves.
Also for the topper I have 4 thc bombs and 3 northern lights aready sprouted! Things are looking good! I pray to the pot gods that I get close to 100% rate of sprouting and that they all live to see new leaves!

If things go well with these first seedlings i may start the remAining 12 seeds I have.

The plan is to veg for 4-5 weeks what ever plants survive and then cloning/ sexing will occur befor they go to bud.
I plan on building a smallish mother home/clone starter inside my room that i will use to keep a perpetual big grow going, I'm not pleased that I'm already a month behind but ya know it's my own fault for not being dilegent!

I know that those who have been reading this are prob mad bc there are no pics yet and it's been a month since I started the thread. Well they will get there when they get there. I'm more concerned about keeping my girls going thanshkwing off the work, and until now it seems it was all a waste anyways.
