Grape ape has been my bread and butter strain last couple of years. Sper easy to grow and great chunky nugs with awesome bag appeal. Also have recently had some bonkers kush and querkel, that have really been doing the trick for me.

For me it's been:
Pineapple Express during the day
Critical Jack in the evening, or anytime really
Skywalker Kush at night.
I'm loving all three!

I got it as a freebie and it was more than a surprise. Super frost, great smell and the hi was unmatched. I'm definitely going to order more. After I harvested my madness I stressed her to produce more seeds and I'm glad I did. The only 2 that I've don't this to was ww from greenhouse and the madness. I germed 3 of the madness seeds and 2 cracked. They're growing beautifully now. I took a shot in the dark on producing seeds just because of the way madness and ww looked and smelled. 1-2 weeks into flower with these two new plants and they were already getting nice and frosty. I can't wait to taste her again.
Wow!!!...Thanx for the heads-up...Checkin' out "Madness"...FWIW

My favorite right now is Church. I'm going to be sad when that jar is empty, I had such problems growing it. Right from the start I had too chop it at it's base as a seedling and re-root it because it got some sort of fungus rot around the trunk. Then I dealt with a nutrient problem with burnt tips. By the time I had it flowered out it had been in intensive care a few times.

Really weird, I always go light on the nutes and pay close attention to PH.

Anyways, even though I love it, I doubt I'll grow it again. Way too finicky.

Here's a pic of her. This was my very first grow ever. The only advise or help I had was a book, Ask Ed. I just watched for stresses or issues and didn't do any training. Remember, this was my first try at growing anything, ever!

Nice grow...I will probably get slammed for writing this here...MJ is not complicated...My first twenty years were Miracle Grow Potting Soil, MG Tomato Fert, Bag S33d & a copy of "High Times"...Now I have EC truncheon, pH meter, humidity indicators, Dyna Grow and I'm on five different weed forums...

Anyway, checked into the genetics on "Madness" and found it interesting that the Matanuska is a Brazilian strain x Cindy 99 so, one of my favorite indicas & one of my favorite sativas at about $10/bean...Hoping I can replicate your results...PM me anytime and I will do the same to share results...FWIW

for me it's OG18xSkunk right now, very ballanced high, and that "old school" taste and smell I'm always looking for, only got 4 oz off of 2 plants indoors, and I cut a little early, but it's the shit for sure. I even did a little pollination and got enough seedsfor 2 more 6 or 8 plant grows, depent on the m to f ratio.

I isually keep some of each strain i grow. unless i dont like the high(i have grown shit i hated due to market demand, and needing to keep up with competition). that said, i do have a special plant i grow only for myself. its a cross my buddy did years ago,(he died 9 months ago) :-( . the strain is a secret blend of several genetics. he saddly took tgat secret to his grave, and he never told me what it was. i have a large stock of em, so at least his memory can live on thru his genetics.
he named it, however he also kept that secret. i dont have a name for it, as i feel it would be wrong to call it something other than its proper name.

I would name the cross after your friend in his memory.
Sorry to hear that news tho.

I'm looking on adding a couple new strains to my headstash. I let the bubba go as well as the tahoe I had and blue dream. I feel like I can find better and I'm getting ready to do a nice seed pop to find that.

I considered it, however, he wouldnt have liked it. and as i am the only person who ever smokes this , i didnt feel the need to name it. I dont have it going right now cause it made me sad the last time i thought about sowing some seeds. i have a large number of them, but im just not comfortable growing then right now.

thanks for the condolences tho.

im glad he did pretty good for himself, he left his widow a million dollar home, a package that would last a lifetime(he owned several income propertys as well), and a trust fund for his kids.

the really sad part was he had a heart attack on his 34th birthday. He dropped dead in front of 120 people as he was halfway thru a speach about how good life is, and how he looked forward to many more partys like the one we were having.

i dont dwell on the sadness, i mourned deeply for a week and then remeberd all the times we had. the hardest part about his death was the way it happened. anyway, enough sad storry, this is a thread about our
headstashes.
