I think you would be in a better position to answer that. I don't know the full specs of your light, but you can read all the Mars specs here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/fc-4800-samsung-lm301b-commercial-led-grow-light

Clearly there are differences in spectrum, complexity and configuration. Your light would appear to have more Far Red and Blue (or are those UVA LEDs?) as well as 4x as many drivers. Neither are waterproof.

LOL! How many Mean Well drivers have you purchased lately? At last count, the company I am affiliated with has sold over 300.

You've bought one LED grow light from a third party and now you're an expert. I've designed and built three generations of LED grow lights over the past four years that are made locally and have sold in their hundreds.

The only reason you're still in this thread is for all our entertainment. :bigjoint:

  • for the really interested person

So they talk about the Emerson-Effect and then just put a 2%(?) farred in their board.
Then, why 630nm so high when it's already enough in the base SPD, why not raise 660 & 730 instead?
Then, so many drivers are bad for system efficacy and additionally pricey.
Next, there's no digital way to control the channels so you cannot do FR-EOD. Only manually dimming.
