GROWALATER at it again....OG KUSH

Hello and and welcome to my second grow journal. My first of Pineapple Express and Kandy Kush can be found in my signature. I am making some small changes from the first grow to better the grow. If you didn't fallow my first grow I update with pics at a minimum of every two days. Here we go.

Equipment:
133CF wardrobe closet.
Super Sun2 air cooled reflector.
400w MH (VEG)
600w HPS (FLOWER)
Lumatek Ballast
Active air 6 inch inline fan (450CFM)
Phat Carbon Filter
(2) Modded Waterfarms (Upgraded air pump of 30-60 Gallon, more holes drilled in bottom and an air stone in each res)
Portable A/C (temp control)
Portable Swamp cooler (humitidy control)
Fan controller
Homemade scrog screen

Nutrients:
(VEG): Voodoo juice, B52, seni grow a&b and great white.
(FLOWER): Voodoo juice, B52, Bud Blood, conisuueer and great white.

Water:
I have an Reverse Osmosis water system. After water comes out of the system I have a ppm of 14ppm. PH is usually around 5.8

Strain:
Reserva Privada OG KUSH Feminized.

I will be growing from seed and scrog this grow just like last grow. I always welcome questions. Please ask them in the jounal as sometimes my inbox fills up quick. I will germinate seeds tomorrow when they come in the mail. I will update with some pics in a couple minutes of the equipment.

This is why we wash the hydroton.

This is how a waterfarm (in my eyes) is set up right. The rocks on edge are higher and decent down to where the seed will go

How do you germ your seeds and what are they in before you put them in the farm? can you take me through that? I am considering moving to hydro.

I like to give people in my journal a idea of what I'm using. I know it helps a lot for ideas. So I show how the equipment is all set up. Can't show my fan and filter cause those are hidden now. You can catch a look if you really want to see it in my other grow.
Here a couple pics of screen ready and light on. The light is at the very top. Need to find my chains. They went bye bye in a box when my kandy got 5 feet tall. So with the light lowered I will produce a nice EVEN canopy

That's a temp of 68 degrees without using ac but with inline fan.

The screen really fills almost every inch of the walls.

The one of bigger air pumps in corner. I am using the 30-60 gallon pump for the two waterfarm drip rings. Them I am using each single pump that came with the waterfarm on each air stone. The air stone is a add this grow. I opted out of it last grow cause I didn't think it would make a difference. I think it wouldn't hurt.

How I germ is put a couple folded paper towels, Wet the towel and ring it out. You want it very damp but not sloshy. Keep it on the plate covered in the dark. Keep making sure the paper towel doesn't dry out. When the root pops out a 1/4 of an inch your ready. The way I plant the seed in a waterfarm is just put the seed with root down between a couple hydrton rocks. Then all you can see is the seed shell facing up. Then make sure the drip rings are getting water to it. Waterfarms are easy hydro systems if you use the right stuff. And they grow plants fast as shit.

Growalater, you're back and I'm back and subscribed. Congrats on your half pound harvest! The OG Kush is on my list of strains that I hope to grow one day so I'm excited to see how it SCROG's and stretches.

Subscribed man. Very interested in this strain as well, but I've heard rumors that it's somewhat low yielding. Hope your 600 proves it wrong and best of luck throughout the grow.

Thanks for all the support guys. OG KUSH can be a hard strain to get a great yeild from. So I'm not shooting for any magic number. Just the most I can get out of it. Glad you all are here for the ride!
