This is far too general of a question to properly answer, but here's a short list of things that spring to mind:
Training methods (take your pick, lots of options here)
More light
More plants
Heavy nuting
CO2 (or failing that, just better ventilation.)
Hydro rather than soil

you say heavy nuting. what is this?
im a beginner grower and have alot to learn.
im growing in soil at the moment with 1 light to 3 plants.
at the moment i dont really have a ventalition system going as im abit stock for money, i leave the door a jar and have a few fans blowing around in there.
im feeding them the amount it says on my flower food (terra flora) and the boost (cana boost), is this right or should i be giving them more or less?

If your starting dont apply heavy nutes you could burn it lol. Once again like Cr8 said you need to give more detail, especially when you post on here. What kinda light you using? whats your setup? etc..
Keep your light as low as you can it helps having a fan in between the tops of the plants and the lights to blow away radiant heat. Also work on the vent's man. Whats the temp been ranging from? To be honest if your a bit "stock" for money as you say theres not really a bunch you can do. You can train them though try looking up some different methods on here. LST, super cropping, also look up lollipopping or "spearing". The first 2 are forms of training and the bottom is what a lot of people do to increase yield and to form bigger top buds.

Im new here also but have a general know how of alot of the basics.
What they were refering to with "heavy nuteing" was to give your plants the max healthy amount of NUTRIENTS it can handle without you killing them or getting their health outta wack or nute burn which is also refering to 2 much nutrients given over saturating or frying the plants out.
MY SUGGESTIONS which are just that...
1. Give the maximum amount of information you can reguarding your situation in reguards to the question without doing the obvious and LE burning yourself (legal trouble).
2.Example for this question would be
a. Lighting (watts-type: hps,MH,LED,CF)
b.Enviroment (pot size, dirt mix, light schedule, veg time & age)
c. Feeding schedule (nutrient types, how often given, dose, ect)
d.Any other things you've added to the grow area such as co2.
I would just do as the veterans here suggested and browse threw old posts and if you have a question of immediate concern go to the SEARCH at the top of the page and put your question in there first. Any question you have im sure has been asked here countless times and will be answered every which way in the archives which is why you will get short answers from other members. Their more than willing to help or they wouldnt be here donating time its just they want effort on new growers as well instead of doing all the work.

Thanks for the info on that guys, il give that ago and see how things turn out. Heres a little more info:
im using two 600 wt lights, over 6 plants, with a foot and half away from the tops, theyv been under for 7 weeks now. There on 12/12. The hight of each one is roughly 3ft not including the pots. There in 10 lt pots with all mix soil (soil, perlite and some kind of wood chippings). There in a 4 sq meter area in a room of 16 sq meters. There on a feed of 50ml feed (terra flora) per 10ltrs of water, with 50ml of boost (cana boost) per same 10ltrs of water, at 6-6.5 ph. They each get a litre an 1/2 every 2 days. The temperature ranges from 30c - 35c.
hope i gave enough info bt not to much to get the illegal guys on my tail.
Iv got 1 little question... my friend has had 4 plants on 12/12 for 6 wks an didnt notice his timer had broken. Which ment his plants were on 24hrs under three 600wts lights for a week. They seem to be growing new tips for new buds. Does this mean his plants hav gone back in to vegen stage? and he'll have to wait 2months from the day he put them back on 12/12?

If its been going 24/0 then his plants are prob just showing pre flowers.good but thats just my opinion (unless your doing sog or something like that) Get a fan inbetween the plants and the light you can raise it down lower my 400w is about 7-8'' from my plants. Might not be able to get that low but for sure you be at 12'' safely with some air flow that'll help increase yield, make denser buds etc.. But 7 weeks in your just about done, you might not notice much of a difference. What strain are you growing?

im thinkin about chopping them on the 9th week if the hairs aint turned brown by then, there still pure white. the strain is 2 strawberry an another one i 4 get what its called something kush.

you should do some research on your strains. Put forth effort into growing it'll pay off. Some plants take 14+ weeks to flower. Most indoor plants (more indica then sativa) are about 8 weeks some more some less. But where ever you got the seeds from go back there and check out the info.

So your saying lowering the lights is bad for the plants then? Damn your stupid, i gave advice to lower the lights

It might of been unintelligent but i'm in the learning process like everybody else. Only difference is asshats like you would rather pick on people and try to make them feel stupid instead of doing the correct thing and correcting them like a civil human being would.
