Grow under Mars Epistar 320

Hope it’s better than the mars hydro 1000 w I have. I put a plant under it to finish and it wouldn’t. It was fine for a veg light means I spent a couple of hundred on it
I love when people say "it's fine for veg" what do you mean? The plants didn't die? I know they grew stupid slow so I'm not really sure what fine means

Hello All,
I've decided to restart my new Thread here.

My friend bought the new light Mars Epistar 320 to me, and I decided to try it over some new strains (for me) to get things dialed in for a few runs.
My first impressions:
1) WOW!:clap:Nice Kit!!:hump:The Epistar 320 is massive, powerful, and with the model that I received (with the remote control!) is just a pleasure to work with!
2) I am currently running a pair of Acapulco Gold and one Amman's Sour Diesel under it (got it just as I was putting them into flower) and the plants have gotten BIG!:hug:I try to keep my plants under 3 foot, both for control over the grow as well as to make it easier to keep within my legal quotas here in the State of Maine. The AG Girls are at nearly 4 feet, and the ASD is close behind. The spectrum and intensity of this panel is beyond my expectations- it's just Top Shelf!:fire:
is mars still going last i heard the nips that owned mars got done for inside trading thats asians for ya

I'd recommend changing up your technique quite a bit to run with those lights. Look into SCROG and running a few more plants to get the most you can out of it. You're growing like you have an HID, you just need to change the technique to match the light. I think if you ran a flat canopy you'll see an increase in yield.

As I've been mentioning, Summer heat has been the only obstacle so far. I am loving that Angel Bud pic

This week, I'm putting 3 Original Amnesia under the panel, and the one remaining plant from first run-Amman's Sour Diesel- is going to yield like crazy!

I'll post a few ASD pics this week, and hope to have the drip swapped over in a day or 2.

A
Note on the heat issue- I don't have the additional electricity budget to run an AC in that room. If I did, this light would not be having heat issues for tent temps. Thankfully. The flexibility of dropping power to spectrums allows a grower to manage the heat adequately. It just took me a week to figure that out!

Want to see what this 320 can do when room temps are stable?

The Original Amnesias, just finishing week 2:eek:I bent the hell out of all 3 tops, and the light penetration made a meadow full of colas:leaf::weed:

I knew this light would truly shine once the stable low 80s could be maintained.
This harvest bodes well!!

Don’t sweat the haters
I’ve grown and still love my mars ( though I dont use em at the moment)
Yeah, they are not the most efficient panel
(Especially if useing more than one)
But ya know what else is inefficient ?
HPS, and lots still use those.
Keep up the good growing with mars.
If you keep your canopy even ( Scrog or lst)
Your mars will reward you with much better production. (I.e. more bud)

I got a shot of the Amnesia Ladies, Day 30 in flower. I'm going to have to tie up some branches... They're already getting heavy, with 26 days to go!

Tent temp is 79.8 deg f, humidity is 45%, and they are thriving!
