Grow UFO Lights

Anyone used those grow ufo light systems? How are they? How were the buds? It seems like a good light to invest in but I don't know if it is just a gimmic. Should I buy one or two or three?

I've had a GrowUFO for about six months and I am pleased with it. I think the previous poster was referring to the led ufo from hid hut which is very different. I have one of those too but I wasn't happy with it. I took my chances with the newer growufo. My plants did not have any stretch at all. Nice tight Indy plants (feminized w/w). . Quite bushy actually (disclosure: I do manicure the plants which helps fill them out). I don't have experience with anything other than a 400w HPS but I was pretty pleased with my yields. I did not do a side by side grow but I have enough experience to know what to expect and the yield was comparable. The manufacturer sunshine systems said it equals a 400w hid. I think it's a fair claim. The no heat thing is true too. That's pretty cool.

Peace

i saw the ufo thing and i would recommend this: http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260334323442
i am this all the feedback from it is good. this will give you a bulb for veg and a bulb for flowering this thing is just plug and grow. there is an option between 150w bulbs and 250w bulbs. i live in dublin 2
the ufo's by themselves work great, Its a miracle for the small scale grower, growing in a space that can be surrounded with led. I've worked with the older and newer models- 660nm one watt cree diodes seems to be the ticket. peace

what do you mean by that? Also what's "660nm one watt cree diodes". So are you confirming that you can get excellent results from a particular type of LED?
Is it just now coming of age?
Anyone else have any thoughts?
Thanx,
