Grow tent lighting

I just bought a 32x32x62 tent. I don't have any experience growing indoors but that's about to change. I have a 4' 4 bulb T8 shop light that I think will fit diagonally across my tent if my math is correct. My tent hasn't arrived yet so not sure about the light fitting. The bulbs are 6500k. Will this be enough light to grow 2 plants in this size tent?

First off I don't have anybody to get clones from I only have a few seeds a friend gave me and they're not feminized and like I said I need to get my feet wet before I try doing a 1 and a half with a 3/4 twist. I can grow out doors ok but any Jr. High schooler with a shovel can grow outdoors.

I am in the middle of my first indoor grow. I don't think that you're going to be pleased with the results you get from the T8. If I were you I would invest in a 400 W HPS instead. It will fit your tent without a problem, you can get it close to the plants without burning them, and you will get great results with that tent size. They aren't expensive, and you get out what you put in.

Each post here makes some very valid points. I am running T8s currently, but simply for seedlings and the start of veg, however I can already tell the difference in comparison to my other run starting under MH lighting. I can see your concern about "getting your feet wet" as you put it, but a few extra bucks on decent lights can make a HUGE difference.

You all have convinced me I'm gonna get a 400w hps& my set up. It's supposed to lights 4' x4' tent so it'll be more then enough for my 32"x32" tent. I've another question, I've got a plant I started in Jan. That's well into flowering (about 2 1/2 weeks) I've had I in a closet grow. If I set it outside and try to finish it outside will the changing from 12/12 to about 13 1/2 hours light put it back in veg or will it continue flowering, although the days will be getting longer a couple minutes every day. Or should I finish it 12/12 inside under CFL

The buds are looking outstanding I really hate to fuck em up!!!
