Grow tent help needed

I recently bought a 2x4 tent and started two seeds in the middle of the tent under a Spider Farmer sf1000, since it’s only rated for 2x2 coverage I ordered another led similar. I have two questions, is it necessary to add another light even if I am not utilizing all the tent space and only growing two plants underneath the SF100”? Secondly, would it be an issue adding the second light to light the entire tent space?

your grow light is 250.43umol/square meter - not sure if that is PAR, PPFD, or what lol. (im a noob sorry)

But assuming the above is the PPFD value, the DLI is just the PPFD per day (ppfd on its own is per second). So if my understanding is correct... you just multiply the above by how many seconds you keep your lights on for and multiply by 1000000

also, im pretty sure this 'spider farmer' is a rebranded china grow light - you can get the same light or better cheaper on aliexpress

but yeah, assuming its 250 umol PPFD, according to the article I linked above what you have is just about enough for veg, and not enough for 'optimal yields' at flower. i have no idea if thats true or not. hopefully someone more experienced can help

You only need the one light for the timebeing, untill the plants are flowering, then add the second light. I got 2 ts600’s and i reckon that one light per plant is the way ill use them.
i think youve got a 100 watt equivalent light there, you can get away with the one light with some lst /hst. On your plants. But to getthe most out of your tent, one per plant will do you for flowering.
sono, youdont need two lights, but your plants will flower better under two of them
