Would this work ok?
And sorry to be a noob but what fans would you recommend for inlet?
I'm running an LED in there and I've just got an oscilating fan outside the tent, which is blowing through the open panel at the bottom.
the temps stay around 77-80 as it is now but I want to put a little clip on fan inside the tent so I can close the panels and have it lightproof (or at least almost lightproof)

I'm not familiar with that fan but as long as it is able to pull/push through the filter you should be golden. Small tents really don't need huge fans - I run a 4x4 with a 1kW light and my 440 cfm fan running at 1/4 speed. Most 100+ CFM fans should be sufficient. The best way to configure is pulling through the filter so if you can mount your filter inside the tent it would be ideal, your fan could still be mounted outside the tent. It is possible to have it all on the outside and push through the filter - I've done this with success but it is not as ideal.

Greners.com nabbed me today for some coin. Went with the Secret Jardin dr120, 600 lumatek, radiant reflector, some fans, ducting and other little toys.

I wanted it as odorless as possible, quiet, cool and hopefully by July sometime I will be smoking my own. I've been legal for quite awhile...I can't believe I didn't order all this shit up before. I must have been stoned.

dropping a grand for a tent is something I should have done a lonnng time ago :lol: I feel you luther, youll be happy when you splurge on growing!

HI to all tent growers and nice to see this thred growing, i see alot of tent growers having to water they plants in the tents one by one and then taking the run off water out, i know sounds eazy if you got 1 or 2 plants, butt if your growing something like 6+ plants it is quit alot of work specialy if your growing in coco whre you have to water like nearly every day, now if you have a good run to drain set up please do share your system i wud love to know if other tent growers have come up with some good adeas!!!

I just use plastic trays and water until the hint of runoff... then the plants suck up the rest of the water in the next 4 hours.. I use a 30 gal rubbermaid to mix my water/nutes...lasts me 2-6 days depending on their maturity

Wassup all, new to this site but not to growing. I am doing two tents one for my clones and mothers and the other for flowering. For the clones and mothers I will be usining my 4x4x8 tent with 600 watt mh/hps digital ballast and light. For my second tent for flowering I am going to be building. It is going to be 7x14x8 and I am going to be building three beds so that I can have about 50-60 plants per bed. Ill be running three 600 hps lights in there (will later be converting to 2 1000 and 1 600 watt). That will get me at least 2lbs per bed. Ill post some pics soon.

Hi all, I have a 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5 milarr grow tent, I use 2 x 1000 watt MH and HPS cooltubed system, I have heat problems when I close my tent, if i keep it open the temperature will be just under 27 degrees, to achieve 22-23 degree i have to keep the bedroom door opened which isn't ideal, whats the best way to cool down my room, here are the pics of my room

I keep a 8000 BTU A/C in my tent... Picked it up for $200 and gives me peace of mind my tent wont overheat. Just patched it in to the vent system like so

Where is your hot air exhausting? Is it just going into the room or do you have it going into an attic or outside? Also, what is the temperature of the bedroom?

Actually I vent it back into the central forced air system... Works way better than I ever thought. I just tried it on a whim. The air gets spread to 3 other bedrooms and I never have a problem with heat. The room stays around 72. I keep the inside of the tent at 73 so I can keep the light close.

fans, timers, and accoutrements
growing in two 4-site 'Garden of Ease' by Sunleaves.

I'm interested on how the DR80 looks. I was going to buy that one but ended up getting the DR90 II
