I'm just scraping around for the last bits of bud off a twig that was an oz a coupla weeks ago. figured i deserve to finish it off now as my light finally arrived today & spent most of this evening putting up the dr120 tent thats been sat, boxed up & gathering dust in the corner of my room for the last 3/4 weeks. Fuck me its big!! Too big to be honest but I always intended on expanding my grow once the cash has built up a bit, so Im not that arsed.
Really wanna just get going now but I have to wait till friday before I can order some seeds (and some EZI-roll things to attach my light to the tent... and a little fan to put in there). think i'm gonna go with northern lights for my 1st grow as Im a bit worried about the smell creeping out my flat. Anyways hello everyone! felt like I should post as my shit is finally starting to come together.
Exciting times for me

Hey question for all ya. So I added perlite to my soil this round at a ratio of 1 to 4. They drain way better but they also seem to hold moisture forever. They only really need water right now once a week so my question is. Is it not good to feed every time you water your plants? Its been four days since there first feeding and the soil still feels moist.

Looks tits man! I can't wait to see it full of dank! What's your temps run at with that 250?
Cool I'm glad you guys dig it :)

Ill pm you my journal ganja, anyone else who wants my journal link pm me ;)

I run the AC, barely... If I don't run AC the temps inside do 80-83... I keep ambient air temp outside the tent 72, and inside the tent stays 78 ;)

Perlite gives you better drainage, it softens up your soil... water stays on the surface of the perlite rather than being absorbed..

Depending on your nutes, you could be doing feed-water-water, or feed-water-feed-water...

You don't feed every time.

If they are small in large pots, it will take them a while to drink a lot of water.. Water when the top two inches of the soil gets dry.. I'd say it's better to under-water than over-water.... as you can ALWAYS add water, but you can never remove it... you need to make it so your soil doesn't stay soaked 24/7 otherwise this cuts off the oxygen to the roots, you let your medium dry up a little bit to get the oxygen to the roots, and then water for their water :)

You can ask me whatever questions in my jounral home boy

Yeah guess I just freaked a little. I've only watered twice since I transplanted them last. Which was once a week but I checked them last night and they were due for more. So thats about right then. I'll feed once a week every other watering. Thanks man thats all good stuff. I've read it before and I know over watering is worse but I was just asking if It's bad for them to get food every time they get water. Dosent matter now anyway their starting to fill their pots and want more.
