Grow setup with low ceiling...

I've been putting together a hydro setup similar to the bubbleponic kits. I have a space that is like 9' long by 6' wide. The prob in that the ceiling is only 4 feet high. Do you think that this is doable if I bend the plants? I'm really trying to make this work so any input would be appreciated.

I am also trying to figure out what kind or light to use, I was leaning towards some t5's but I have been trying to see if with the proper ventilation I could use a hps.

Thanks for the help.

Any ideas? I have been searching for answers around this site and others for the past month without any real resolution. Please help point me in the right direction if you can. Thanks

yer i think that should be big enough. Start flowering when the plants around 1.5 ft high cause it can double and sometimes even triple in size after the first few weeks of flowering! you could also trim the top cause i think they slows down the height growth and causes it to bush out more.

well this is my adice but im currently on day 5 of my first grow lol so im only talking from what ive read, not personal experience :)

good luck mate

a HID light is going to take up about 2'(incl mounting hardware and allowing for 1' between light and plant), then the pots will take up about 1' which will leave you with about 1' for the plant to grow in.

thanks a lot for the replys, the ceiling has joyces and insulation I'm thinking I can make something to get the hid a little higher off the ground but a foot was what I was figuring. Just gotta make it work for the winter then I have a bigger space for the summer
