Yes they do carry 150 w cfs....If I got the gift card from a hydro shop then it would be different....other people have grown useing cfls.....
Take that Home Depot card to the local hydro shop. Tell the mother fugger you want to barter and sell him the Home Depot card at a discount. Then get what you can and go apeshit at the hydro store. Get a refund on those floros or use them for Halloween or some shit.

What the fuck I did not go to lowes I went to home depot....maybe the one in your area does not have them but the one 2 fucking blocks away from my house has them. Not all HD stores carry the same thing. for the most part they do carry the same stuff. I went to one HD and they did not have the 150w cfls on the other side of town.....

150w cfl dont screw into regualr household sockets. they require ballasts. the biggest cfl you will find that screws into sockets are 42w. this are the biggest bulbs alone that they carry at homedepot, lowes, walmart, target. either you lights are not 150w or you are just flat out talkn outta yo ass. so which is it?

FELONIOUSCARPO, dewd chill... We are just trying to understand what your talking about. In order to help we need to understand what you have.
42w CLFs from HD are labeled as 150w. You have to read the fine print to see they only draw 42w. Lee me guess, they cost $9.98 per light. Am I close? I know the lights your talking about as I have 10 of them myself and they are great.

If they are the same lights they produce 2600 lumens in the 2700k CCT range. They are great for flowering. Keep in mind they will also produce some IR radiation and can burn your plants, unlike the 6500k version.

I took 10 plants through veg with 10 26w CFLs (6500k). You can see them in my avatar. You need more light for flowering. 38 42w 2700k should produce a fire storm of light. Almost 100,000 lumens. Properly placed you should get some amazing results.

Let us know how it goes and please read the side of the bulbs and get us a model number. I would be happy to research the specifics on the bulb which will help us all understand a little better.

They draw 42W but they have a output of 150W so in reality there 150w light bulbs, ask the plants they'll tell ya.

Thats 1596Watts with the equivalant of 5700watts. so you're plants will think there getting 5700watts but in reality there only drawing out 1596watts. so thats 98800 lumens. More then enough for alot of plants if you place them correct.

from my understanding they are equal to a 150w incadescent light...but they are 42w cfls....hence making the bulbs42w
