I am framing off an area of a basement closet behind the furnace for a small grow setup. As stated in the title it is 3 feet wide by 4 feet 6 inches in length and 6 feet 4 inches in height.
Ideally i was hoping for a 2 layer system with vegetative on bottom and flowering on top. That would mean only 38" or roughly 3 feet per room. Is this enough room (height) to grow in this amount of space (3 feet) even if the HPS is air cooled and can be positioned closer? Or should i Just go with one level veg and flower in same space? I was hoping to be able to manage both cycles and thus always have a mother plant for cloning on hand. I would appreciate if someone can give me hints on setup and number of plants sufficient for this space and anything else you can think of. What kind of yields would be with 1 or 2 layer systems ... generally. thx
I am planning to incorporate an exhust fan and ducting to the outside and inline reflector for the HPS. Electrical will be direct dedicated 30A from subpanel in garage. DIY Carbon filter will be attached to the ducting and vented outside.
