Grow room in- and outlet position question

Can someone please guide me - Where do you place the inlet and exhaust fans in a grow room.

From what I can see from other set-ups it seems the inlet with fresh air should be at the bottom and the outlet exhaust at the top is this correct?

Thanks in advance

Yes correct. Basics of thermodynamics is that heat rises.. You wants to get rid of the hot air.. Outlet at top

Thank you - Got that sorted out perfectly. Now I am dealing with next issue - can the carbon filter go on the outside? Carbon filter seems to heavy to hang from the roof of the grow tent and I don't want to compromise space by placing it on the floor of the tent. My current set-up is the ducting running from the top of the tent into the fan and the fan mounted directly onto the carbon filter with the filter/fan equipment on the outside of the tent. Will this provide adequate odor control?
