Grow Plan (ADVICE PLEASE)

For the past week or so I have been researching indoor hydroponic growing and I believe I have come up with a plan based on the forum threads and tutorials i have read.

Grow Room:
I plan to build my grow room out of pvc pipe and panda plastic. I am going to start off small because I have to deal with security due to the people I share a house with. So i was thinking of 4x4x6.
Ventilation:
I will use an exhaust that vents to a carbon filter and a blower as well.

Lights:
I was thinking 600w mh/hps with a homemade air cooled reflector.

Grow Medium:
Since I am going to be starting off from seeds I am going to attempt to veg mother plants. I figured the best way to get mother plants ready for cloning would be a homemade aeroponics system.

Strain:
Mazar

Questions:
Will 600w be to much for 6 plants?
What type of nutrients should i use for aeroponics?
How big should the rubbermade be that i use for the aeroponics setup of 6 plants?
Will mazar be a good begining strain?

Any other suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Im not a proponent of hyrdo for my self , I also think think the effort to hydro a mom is a bigger hassle then a soil mom and then rowing the clones in hdro if you insist.
Good luck

At any time you want to make a home made ANYTHING for any piece of equipment using 150w of power or more especially a light you run the risk of causing a fire.

If I might make a suggestion for the air-cooled reflective hood. Use sheet aluminum and build it in a way that the air flows above the bulb below the hood then for safety sake have the exhaust from the light blow across the top of the hood to further utilize the heatsink qualities of an aluminum hood.

The fan you are going to want will probably be a higher powered in-line fan a computer fan or some other cheap way out will end in catastrophic results.
