yeah nice article, i prefer soil, i mix mine 30%perlite 70% soil, whats your preference?

Well I kinda just add Perlite until it feels about right, but depending on the soil, I'd say about 20-25%.

You might want to mention Hydroton under hydro.

hydroton... coco coir.... straight perlite... all of those are great hydro mediums.....

Great ideas guys, Sorry I have only seen a few hydro setups. Only seen rock wool and volcanic rock
