You've mentioned fruiting grains straight several times now and I'm curious how you do that. You just take the lid off the jar and place in a fruiting chamber of some kind or does it require a casing?

I don't believe in the more exotic methods of integral casing. If you want to grow from spawn you dump the grain out into a tray, wait a day or two and then case. Casing will always yield more than failing to case, you cannot get massive pinsets unless you case, you will almost always get more flushes when you case, however, casing is the single most common source of terminal contamination.

hrmm i gotta take more time into this ive just been doing rag tagging here and there for personal
