Journal submission conditions and terms

“THE ROLL IT UP KING GROW CONTEST”

FIRST PLACE PRIZE FOR BEST JOURNAL – PRIZE to be announced

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-Start a thread in the “journal” forum at rollitup.org and follow the terms and conditions as stated below

-At the end of the contest, all contestants must submit high resolution original photos to ROLLITUP.ORG with signed waiver to be eligible for prize (photos to be submitted on cd or dvd)

- Picture at least every other day – wide and close up

-Maintain a Journal including the minimum details in DAILY entries
a. how much nutrients used
b. ph of water
c. medium used
d. temperature of room
e. light cycle calendared
f. water schedule (frequency and quantity)

-Prizes and monies will not be awarded without signed
release, and high resolution photo on CD or DVD

-Eligible entries must show entire grow from seed/clone to harvest and
drying.

-Contest winners will be chosen on (DATE 12/30/08). If 10 journals are
not submitted by this date, the contest time can/will be extended by
RollItUp.org

-Exceptions and changes to any of these rules can be made by RollItUp.Org
without notice to contestants.

-Gardens can be of ANY size using any type of lights

-quality of journal entry, pictures and attention to detail is more important than the quality of the finished product

- ALL ENTRIES THAT FIOLLOW THE GUIDELINES WILL RECEIVE 3 FREE SEEMOREBUDS DVDS AND A FREE ONE YEAR ELITE MEMBERSHIP TO ROLLITUP.ORG

ROLLITUP.ORG DOES NOT ADVOCATE THE BREAKING OF ANY LAWS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS BEFORE GETTING INVOLVED WITH THIS CONTEST.

Just started germinating some BlueWidow seeds that I got from my
own cross. Considering they germinate, I will be entering them
in this thing.

Journal will be starting soon...Great contest by the way.

release, and high resolution photo on CD or DVD

Could you elaborate on this? What am i releasing and what type of id is needed for the release to be valide? Do you need to know my address and or any other intimate details of my existance? Try not to get insulted, i'd love to get the DVD's and the membership would be greatly enjoyed, but i do not want to necesarily inhibit my freedom loving ways. I understand that we, the grower, needs to 'prove' the existance of the ongoing process, and that i am willing to do, however proving my existance, and implicated involvement in the process is not in my best interest.

GREAT question - we will not doing anything to jeopardize your identity... we just want to be able to use the pictures and the journals for RIU publicity and publications or other media related projects..

So my active RIU member-name can sign the release? Also, i can send you a DVD/CD with pics to an address you provide, but why are the pics posted in the thread not valid? (resolution issues?) Will i get the 10 cents i paid for the DVD/CD back after you gave me a free membership and three other DVD's?:mrgreen:

yes, we will provide an address. you will not need to hand deliver LOL

no, you will not be refunded postage... :mrgreen:

your rollitup name and a valid email will PROBABLY be enough for the release.

Well.... there are no entries YET... to enter, one must submit their journal... there are lots of people "working" on submissions... but NO actual submissions to date...

see the first page for submission requirements...

it does not have to be a big grow.. the winner could be a great one ounce shot glass grow!!

Anybody can enter this contest.. it can be an old juornal.. a new journal.. a journal your working on now...

The RULES on in the first post...

THE JOURNAL MUST BE YOURS

If your journal does nt follow the exact guidelines, we will still evaluate your journal.. It may be good enough...
