Grow Journal #2 Hawaiian Paia

Welcome to my new journal. The focus of my new journal will be to move my way towards a perpetual harvest. In this journal i have one clone that i successfully took off my 1st mother who is currently flowering. The new plant i have is hawaiian Paia from sativa seedbank, i dont know why but only 1 out of 10 seeds germinated, others were quite weatherd so maybe theyre old.

If this new plant is a female i will clone her and if she is a male i will collect pollen. I have other seeds germinating but they have been sitting dormant underwater for quite some time now. Time for a trip to the club.

if all goes well i will have plants of all ages and sizes in my flowering room, but it might take a while....dont all my journals?

my flowering room is not being used right now,but my flowering light of choice will be a 250watter from HTG i will have the light within the next few weeks to add some bulk to the nuggets on my flowering regenerated plant:-P

for nutrients i will be using superthrive as well as my own kelp tea, and soon compost tea with worm castings in it. as well as earthworms placed in the actual soil.:o

I plan vegging my HP for about another 2-4 weeks, today i topped her and she will be LST the whole time. when i sex the first clone i will know what my next move with this young lady is.

My clone has been through hell and back, besides being the only on to root of 15 stubborn ass babies, a light has fallen on her! sounds like a survivor to me

i am going to keep my Ph between 6.0 and 6.4, the color scale im looking for is more yellow than green

i think thats as much as i can detail

Hello everybody! :joint:

My HP is happy and healthy but i think she is needing some N. So today i addressed that issue and took some pictures.

I took a cutting off of my clone, she had 2 healthy stalks on her but i took one seeing the success of my last attempt. Im thinking its the old rooting hormone. But other than that theyre stoked to be alive as am I.

And here are pictures.

I have them under 4 CFLS as of now totaling 100 watts, so the growth is slow but apparent.

i transplanted my HP today into a bigger pot
but forgot to take root shots :wall:

i mixed some alaskan fish fert into the soil, does anybody have an idea how long it will last?
i have been feeding PHed water and a very light dose of N. i have some superthrive but forgot if i have used it yet or not.
it is time for me to make some more kelp tea.:leaf:
and get back into composting action.

the pot size will only allow her to grow so big so i plan on LSTing her and keeping her low. i don't have a lot of vertical space but she can spread out.

pictures tomorrow i'm way too baked

thanks caddybongsmilie

so today is the 18th and my HP is just over a month old, kind of sad, she has had a few set backs with topping and lights falling on her..you live and you learn..and shes alive so ill shut up.

my clone is still winning and will be a good mother. i dont plan on transplanting her because i put her in an oddly shaped "pot" so she will stay a miniature bush.

ill have pics tonight.

and i might do a tutorial on how to make your own rooting hormone. always wanted to do one of those.:peace:

After transplanting my HP she sure has taken off. She is topped and has 7 budding sites so far. After she grows a little more i will tie her down again...im a fan of that.

My clone has absolutely taken off, her roots are visible through her 'pot' so i am going to wrap something around that to black out the sides. seeing the root coverage is cool. There are 2 clones i can take off of her that i plan on doing. Todays pictures are pre-cutting, ill have some up later of post cutting. This time around i am armed and ready for cloning. My newest addition has been vitamin B1, i shall never fail again. So yeah thats all.bongsmilie

ill wait a week to take clone but when i do, i will take 3-4 off of my clone then 1 maaaaybe 2 off of my HP to see how she is.

that was my original intent, but i just got this strong feeling when i was checking her out today.. and if the opposite is true, i am still a rich man. My clone is pretty indica so i can make a half and half hybrid..but i get way too ahead of myself.bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie

looks good, but on average 1 in .1 plants dont root its like 1 out of 10 cuttings dont root, clones tend to root easily if done the right way.
