Grow box overheating. help.

I made a grow box out of a gigantic speaker I have 3 cfl bulbs and one little 1 foot mini fluorescent tube on each side. For ventilation I have 1 cpu fan blowing air in at the bottom and one blowing out air at the top and the temp still reaches 90 degrees. Any Ideas on how to cool it down??

How is the room which the speaker resides cooled? More air movement at the top removing the hot air would be your best bet...Or perhaps removing one of your lights and seeing how that goes?

The room is about 79 degrees. I am actually planning on putting more lights in because I'm not sure they will get enough energy as is if I don't add more let alone take one away.

i used to do it in a speaker box, temps got way to hot inside mine to. My friend also put one together but painted the inside matte white, lowered the temp alot... is the inside of urs just plain plywood or pressed chip board?

If you put a piece of glass (cut the size of the inside of the speaker) like a shelf and vent the upper part separate from the bottom, like an air cooled reflector you might be able to keep the heat away from the plants.

I have decided just to either take apart a mini fridge and use that to cool it or put the mini fridge open in front of my bottom intake fan to keep it cool. thanks for the help guys.
