Grow Box Construction

I'm making a grow box out of a big plastic Rubbermaid container, its different from what you are thinking its not flimsy its plastic and square. im putting a two foot long florescent, Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb , and a 28 watt panasonic light capsule. the container has hand holes one either side and are 4"x2". the lights will be right beside each of the whole and the lights do not produce much heat. I was wondering if a fan is even necessary in this or if anyone has any opinions on this.

a fan is always necessary, they're not just for cooling your lights. no air movement=no new Co2. with a little research you'll find that Co2 is very important when it comes to growing good dope. you should have a intake and a outtake. you could probably get away with computer fans in such a small area. they're quiet and inexpensive.

alright i guess if i need them. Do you know if you can wire computer fans to plug into a wall out lite.

yes, you'll need a 12v DC adapter with an amperage rating above that of your fan.

my fans dont look like theyd connect to that at all. they look more like a phone jack plug. can i just cut the wire and connect it with some new wire which connects to a plug and then plug it in lol.?

ill have picture of it soon i still have to put it all together and figure out this ventilation problem
im also very cheap by the way so im trying to not buy anything and use material from around my house
