Treeoil is right about the hotspots, its basically impossible to get them.

This thread looks really cool. Looking forward to see if you win the bet.

u are going to need to feed your plants with some type of fertilizer or she wont be happy

really? its a seedling bro it doesnt need any nutrients if its in soil medium for the first 2-3 weeks.

anyway looking inside ur box i gotta say you have plenty of room to get that girl bend and wrapped around her own stem, i dont think you will have any problems fitting it since its a big bud mainly indica

is that tin foil or mylar? Dont use tin foil its useless it eats the light and creates heat... paint the box white instead.

Terrible thing happened during today's light cycle, hence me posting the above pics. The flourescent bulb fell and was resting on top of my seedling, i fear the floro burned her quite bad. I am asking opinions on whether to continue or not, and whether or not she has a chance at surviving. As you can see she is quite brown, i think burned badly. No leaves just yet, tho as you can see there are slits on the sides but it looks like the top part was kinda burned. Opinons? thanks

You want want to try 12 oz soda cans. Use a sharp knife or razor and cut the bottom off. That way the top makes a natural drain. You just push back into place the tab where you drink from it. You can also push on this tab to help release them from the container to transplant to larger containers once they're around 6".

The inside is shiny aluminum, which reflects light, and I usually cover the soil in Perlite/Styrofoam to avoid the soil absorbing light.

Ill consider that Tea, thanks for the idea makes sense

What are your opinons on those pics? look like she still gotta chance? I only have 4 more bigbud seeds (i gotta use bigbud for this, its a rule), and id rly like to use the rest in a full-scale grow considering the yield bigbud can produce.

It's hard to say, treat her right, she might come through.
Looking alright I think she'll be ok and grow out of her burned-ness just w8 it out a wk or 2 and if she's not ok then germ another one and use the 300$ you win to get some more seeds. Good Luck bro
