GroLux 36w

Using a Sylvania Grolux Fluorescent Tube (36w-1.2m length) for clones.

8500k - red and blue light. Possibly the tube could get right down lower than shown, due to its cool running temperature. Currently I am just heading into spring, going to remove the ballast from the fitting and have it remote.

Does anyone else use these, you think this fluro could be closer or further away, recommend or not?

you could lower them some more. i`ve never used that brand or spectrum, i do use t5`s and i can get very close without any negative repercussions.

some strains can actually ride the t5 like trellis if there's enough air flow.... A close friend of mine runs t5s horizontally with no reflectors through the lower branches during flower, his strain loves the heat....
