I have almost all of his first stardawg drops. And a few polar bear crosses. Blizzard bush is one I anticipate to pop the most. If I can find a vanilla nose and stardawg potency, that would be cool. Happy growing
O damn, blizzard bush sounds tasty. Pure vida x stardawg, damn dude...pops that shit. I will get to cookies n chem pack at some point, seen some absoltue fire pheno people on riu have pulled.

Hello everybody :eyesmoke:
I'm currently running Sundae Batter (Back.L), Gelazzi (Back R), Purple Crunch (Middle), Tahoe Animal (Front L), Sugar Mints (Front) and Banana Fruit Cake. (Front R). Going to flip after they recover some more and fill out. Haven't decided if I want to put up a net but might have too.

Back on RIU since its legal to grow now. Looking forward to these ladies finishing already. Made a thread in the LED grow section if you'd like to follow along. I think I put made it in the wrong thread idk.

I ran the first seed of a fem pack of Topanga Cookies, I got a really dank garlic pheno Im blown away with, now I grow in New England in a non heated basement and we had in my microclimate here 2 polar vortexes this plant went through with lows of 50 quite a few nights, about 6 to 7 degrees colder than an average winter night low here. The plant didnt yield much because of that , I missed a few lower balls resulting in a very lightly seeded undercarriage which only gave about 20 seeds , Im contributing that to stress and have cloned it, Im currently on day 23 of flower with the clone and there is no issues at all this run. Im very glad I kept this its so dank and straight up Garlic , Ive caused herm stress on quite a few things I grew and when dialed in on the clones the trait didnt show up, only when it was very few male parts though in the first place. The potency is exhilarating , like being shot out of a cannon, I havent had bud like this in years actually and believe the herming on this one is enviornmental and workable.
What were the other phenos like? Seems crazy you pulled a garlic pheno from pure kush and cookies as neither of those seem close to those smells

She's frosted out my friend! Sounds like a treat. On a side note I got some mamiko pure kush cookies seeds. Probably slightly different but curious what phenos can be pulled from it. I'm still puzzled where the garlic is coming from on yours. Recessive afghan genetics in the topanga pure kush probably

Blasts from the past. I gave a pack of Blizzard Bush to some friends in Bodimore, Murderland. They found a really nice, frosty, vanilla keeper, but before I could get a clone a bunch of homie's broke into the place and stole everything. I started growing in Bodimore in 1995. I'm some grateful I was never robbed or killed. Fock that place. The revolution will not be televised.

Just started 9 packs of of GPS. Orange Blossom Special, Tomahawk, Texas Butter, Boomtown, Dynamite Diesel, Bodega Bubblegum, Hickok Haze, Sundae Stallion, and Cowboy Cookies. Ended up with 89 sprouts, and it looks like we'll have 44 females. Not sure if I'll do a lot of posting like my last GPS pheno hunt, but who knows. Excited about the Hickok Haze, OBS, and Bodega.

We did something a little different this time. We cracked all the seeds and placed them in 8 ounce cups. 89 of about 93 sprouted. All these seeds were bought mainly during the old auction days of GPS. They have been stored in Mason jars in a fridge with a silicone drying pack in each jar. After a week or so in the cups, we transplanted them into 1 gallon pots. At the 5th or 6th node we pinched them. About two weeks later, we took two clones of each strain, and then we immediately flipped into flowering; lights 12/12. Within 5 days we were culling males left and right. By 14 days we were down to 44 females, and we transplanted clones of all those females into 1 gallon pots. We let them go 21 days to make notes on stretching, etc, but also to see if we could spot any "hermaphrodites." We found two that were throwing ball sacks even though the were 99% female. We culled those as well ending up with what appears to be a solid 42 females out of 89 sprouts. Those 42 in 1 gallons were just pinched at the 5th or 6th node, and they will be cloned in two weeks. We did it this way for several reasons. Space, time, and logistics were some reasons. It really took no effort to let them go three weeks into flowering because all you cared about was male or female. Another reason for doing this was to get a few generations away from the seed sprout so that on their first full run in flowering we hope to get a better idea of their full potential. For example, we kept a seed sprout from another large pheno hunt solely due to appearance even though is was a below average yielder. A few generations later that same below average yielder was one of the best yielders of all our strains.

Of the 89 that cracked, here are the number of females...
OBS - 6 of 10 female
Tomahawk - 1 of 10
Texas Butter - 5 of 9
Boomtown - 5 of 11
Dynamite Diesel - 6 of 12
Bodega Bubblegum - 6 of 10
Hickok Haze - 5 of 8
Sundae Stallion - 4 of 10
Cowboy Cookies - 4 of 9

Now, no one take this that there is something wrong with Tomahawk. Plenty of people here have run the Tomahawk. It's just random, or luck of the draw. The more seeds you pop the more likely you are to get to the mean average ratio of male to female.
