Work in progress and this is my second full run with Mega Crop seed to harvest. Clearwater Kush, one plant scrog week 1 of flower. Extras are GLN Sweet Candy and a little extra CalMag since I use Quantum boards and coco based soiless mix.

Thanks for the update and picks Chaos!

I spoke with another grower using our products in Coco, and they said they also added CalMag. So, I guess depending on strain and setup, Coco growers could add in extra Cal Mag and benefit a bit.

Its all strain and equipment/grow dependent. I'm using a lot less than I used to with other nutrients. I know there is good Silica in MC but I may bump it up a little as well. Soil tends to have enough Si but coco and soilless my not. As my test run showed it only needed Calmag towards the end. Keeping an eye on the petioles and stems and I adjust as needed.

This strain is now only at 4 gpg of MC since its a light feeder. MC even for a small grower like me still saves me money even with some of the extra supplements because you just don't need as much. If I were a large scale grower using 55 gal drums as a rez I would look no further "where were you 25 years ago ?"

Going up and healthy !, Week 1 of flower and 4gpg of Mega Crop. Have been adding a touch of CalMag and Silica. She is a light feeder, no burnt tips no purple petioles.

Beautiful :weed: Im still trying to dial mine in no burnt tips but showing purple. I do know I've found my nute as Im running 3 different strains and feeding all the same amount with no adverse reaction from any of the girls. IMO this makes it very easy to run multiple strains without worry of what and how to feed

I want to try Mega Crop for dtw for a 60/40 coco perlite blend in 3 gallon Smart Pots. Just the base fert only. Nothing else. My tap is 0.2 EC. Does anyone know what grams to gallons I need for a solid 1.3 EC of Mega Crop only?

Mega crop is used for throughout the grow it’s a great all around fertilizer. I’m not sure exactly I just pour a little in my res(55 gal) until I hit my target ec.which it’s doing great at .8 for me.

I’m on my tenth bag of it. Going to be buying a pallet here soon, give the postman a break lol. :-D

At my one spot I got some super soft tap at around 0.1 EC. I measure by volume rather than weight for convenience. I do just under 1tsp/gal, or around 4.5 ml/gal. That puts me at around 1.6-1.7 EC.

Its good shit bro.

So a shy teaspoon (3 or 4 ml) per gallon of my tap water should get me 1.3 - 1.4?? With 0.2 tap should read 1.5 - 1.6 ec total. Thats my sweet spot for coco or rockwool for just about any strain I got. At 50 - 60$ a 20 lb bag...its a no brainer. I reuse my coco mostly now. And my double ended bulbs I change out every 16 months. Iam starting to get my consumables down to a reasonable expense.

For years and years I was blowing through bags upon bags medium..jugs upon jugs of pricey hobby nutes and additives..and bulb change outs after every crop or two of the most expensive bulbs at the store. And it was nothing. Consumables was the least of my worries with the coin my product was getting. Not anymore. Iam starting to watch that shit now. Cannabis just aint quite the money tree it was 20 years ago. It was kinda ridiculous what smokers paid us growers back then. But hey...we risked alot of time of potentially sitting in a cage to grow. Just thought I would never see the day where I would pay attention to my wallet more when it came to nute costs..bulb changeouts..soils and medium reups. Iam doing good though. Double endeds keep thier mojo alot longer than regular hps. Coco is easy and ideal to reuse. And now with these dry powder fert companies coming along and pulling back the curtain on the whole hydro hobby nutrient bottle hustle...Iam keeping consumable expenses way down. You smaller personal use and tent growers..its not that big of a deal. You start getting into 10 to 50 lamp rooms...you frikin feel it.

I know mega crop contains potassium silicate. But is it enough? I definitely like the thicker stems and leaves plus stress pm and bug resistance a slight kick in K Silicate additive provides. Would the amount in MC suffice? Also I like using BioAg Fulpower Fulvic acid at 10 ml a gallon in my tanks. Is this supplement ok with MC? Iam buying at least one 22 lb bag come chop time next week. Maybe 2. Its a no brainer for all it contains (its the kitchen sink) for the price. But I have to know it will bring it with the silica (I like Protekt or Europonic strong brands at about 40 to 50 ppm in veg - way noticeable thick robust stems and leaves. Also keeps my plants shorter). I do foliar spray weekly in veg..kelp, fulvic, soy hydrolysate, & yucca religiously. I hope MC plays nice with my simple foliar regimen and use of K silica/fulvic acid in the dtw tanks.
