New thread for this grow, will be my 4th grow.
Greenhouse Train Wreck is out of the ground now :)
She's going to be sitting under my area 51 XGS 190 led light.
Be growing in soil in 5 gal using full range of Canadian xpress nutrients. 50/50 organic and synthetic nutrients.
Will probably veg for 6 or 7 weeks and will probably be Mainlining this one again.
My grow space is 1.5ft by 2.1ft with loads of height.

Few pics of last harvest which was 3 ounce from one plant and the train wreck.

or GHS gear huh? I wouldnt dare grow green house seeds :D . Just too many bad reviews out there. Hopefully you wont have problems :) . Its still shanti's work even if he left GHS a long time ago :P . i dotn know if their trainwreck is known to be hermie prone, but i know some of their strains are very unstable. hopefully yours is one of the stable ones :) .

will be interessting to watch.

Actually you dont KNOW anything because you havent tried it.

There is one trainwreck pheno from greenhouse that throws blank seeds. Its an awesome plant though. Its the pheno with less branching and darker leaves.

I have two train phenos running right now. One throws a couple seeds ine doesnt, both are awesome.

And i have tried greenhouse first hand many of times, i think some of the bashing is people trying to keep their secret safe.

Ya dont know til youve done it

I have actually grown a few of their strains :) . But never again since all the bad bad review the last few years + my own experience. Never tried their trainwreck tho :D .

Im sure they have great strains like i said, its shantis work after all. for me its more a question of stability :) .

Is the secret inconsistency? or garbage plants? Just curious, there is lots of documented grows out there of green house gear. A Canadian Youtube grower grew GHS trainwreck liked it tried to grow it again and couldn't find the same thing. Kalashnikova is a great plant too right? I'm sure you can find him with a quick google, I was going to include his name but thought I better not.

I don't want to clog up your thread, as I really hope you find the best plant GHS makes, but for dude to say GHS is peoples secret they don't want to let out, I just had to chime in :) If you find something good from GHS, you better clone it because you won't find the same pheno in another pack. Especially of the Trainwreck from what I have seen. Public opinion seems to point out that GHS only has one good strain and that's SLH are the others decent? yeah probably but I wouldn't expect more then average meds from them. If people want to grow GHS that's fine, but I think they should be informed as to what to expect from the end results so they know what they are getting into.

I'm growing a Trainwreck X by DNA, it's pretty much a pure Trainwreck pheno as far as I can tell. Sweet lemony funk with dense as hell gnarly un-uniform nugs. Pics in DNA Limited Collection thread if interested.

Protip: buy American genetics, either from American breeders OR buy genetics from folks that you know are working with legit American genetics, I wouldn't trust anything GHS says about any of their strains, they are hype men, I wouldn't trust that when they say they are working with OG Kush that it's actually OG kush and not some random strain they found. If Flavour Flav was selling you a Kazakhstani car would you buy his shit hook line and sinker? The time has passed for the Dutch, they can't even grow their own weed anymore, the shops have to get others to grow it. I don't know how one would expect quality from a breeder who openly says they don't grow their own genetics anymore due to laws changing. I say this as someone with a couple hundred dollars in dutch genetics sitting within arms reach :)

Goat you killed it last grow with that XGS190, actually made me want to order one, gonna have one in the mail by mid July hopefully.

Damn Im super ranty lately :) Grow on Goat. I'm sure you'll beast mode this grow, and if it doesn't turn out well you can always feed it to the goats right? yup I'm going to terrible joke hell for that one, where they have 24 Kathy Griffin and Carrot top mandatory attendance shows.

Im down with what you say except for the "American breeder" part. There are a lot of shitty money horney americans aswell my friend :) . Europe has many great breeders ,sannies and dynasty and bomb seeds and sensi to mention only a few. a good breeder is NOT based on where in the world he is from..

What you wrote down is preatty much accurate, except for that part. Just my 2 c :) . Great info about GHS stability btw. Hopefully goatlicker wont have those problems :) .

I'm of the opinion that American breeders, folks from Cali Colorado and Washington probably have access to the real deal cuts. I question a lot of the big marketing breeders on whether they have the actual cuts. I didn't mean completely disregard the Dutch, that's why I included the "OR buy genetics from folks that you know are working with legit American genetics". What I meant by that was make sure the Dutch breeders are working with the real deal strains they say they are. Too many reports of OG kushs not being OG kush's :)

I've got Karma's Biker Kush V2.0 he's got pictures of the male he uses and legit cuts of what he says. Basically just do your research, make sure you're getting what you pay for. For sure that goes for the American breeders as well. Sadly we haven't found a way to keep the nefarious folks inside one border yet :)

The bit about them not growing their own genetics is strictly in reference to GHS, who says in a video from Spannabis that they can not grow their own strains anymore. That they have to find others to do it for them.

Liie I said, you dont KNOW anything til you have tried it, and from the sounds of it you havent. Im frowing trainwreck right now and out of 3 seeds i found the pheno i had last time. Dourth time ive run trainwreck.


You get inconsistency with any breeder... its part of heredity. Traits skip generationS etc.


Grow a pack of ghs gear before you talk fact, until then its word of mouth.

Dont let other peoples motives or inexperience or mistakes form an opinion about a subject for you.

Honestly, Nirvana's "plane wreck" is probably the same exact thing.

Everyone bashes nirvana, but I think that's also because they're pissed at stolen secrets of nature. The idea of owning a line of genetics seems crazy to me. That's like saying that people own their grand children, and blaming their children for copying.

Their pure power plant is amazing. Is it really different from power plant? I figured they just bought seeds from dutch passion and made new seeds the normal way.

My point is that it's all weed....

Well if its any consilatiin, of the 20 or so strains of greenhouse ive tried, only 2 hermied....

Of about 20 fem seeds from other banks ive tried.... about 2 hermed.

Im done defending ghs from rumors, but I am satisfied with my experience so that is all ill say on this.


Back to the grow journal.

I have 3 trainwreck from seed. One i cut at 7 weeks, the other two will be sometime the end if this week. I have two recognizable phenotypes, and one that is similar but more hairs.

20140606_090954.jpg #3 (ive had #3 & #2 phenos before. 2 seems most common, but i like how heavy the #3 hits) Also finishes in 7 weeks. Does throw a couple blank seeds in week 6 but no pollen or herms.


#3 will have less side branching than #1 &#2 phenotypes as well as darker green leaves. Its all real nice smoke though (obviously not e32)

Been busy the last few days haha but come back to all this.

Well from what i've read here Green house ain't the best, its kind of making me not want to grow this train wreck out to be honest.
I'll see what i can do i guess.. i didn't really know when i was ordering who to go with so i just got what looked good and won awards etc lol.

Have a small issue.. its winter here and i have a heater running in my grow, the RH is sitting around 30-40 at the moment, is this going to cause any problems? It will go up when the plant gets bigger/more watering etc but for now as seeding it shouldn't cause any problems right?

Shouldnt be a problem. If u want to up your RHjust hang a wet towl or something inside your growroom :) . it might slow down growthrate a bit, but 30-40%RH is still well withoin acceptable parameters :) .

Okay, it sits around 30-45 now, i've put a wet towel in there.

I'm already real skeptical about it now i've heard all this stuff and feel as if its going to turn out shit
and waste my time :( as i only grow one plant at a time so it will fuck me over if it does :S
