Green slime on rockwool question

Hello guys and girls, newbie here to the forum. Quick question. Started growing about a month ago. I have 3 girls going strong right now but I'm noticing a green slim on top of my rock wool medium. Is this a huge problem? If so what is the fix? Running a 400w on 18-6

Probably algae...Not a huge problem...You could always cut out squares of something to cover the cubes with...Without exposure to light, algae won't grow.

I've stopped using rockwool because of the green slime (too wet), using hydroton now with much better results.

Like Meta said, cover the rockwool.
