Green roots with white dots - looks scary - help me out plz

Hey all I got my plants in a stealth hydro bubbleponics system, they are on about week 3 now but I have noticed weird looking parts of my roots on some plants. They are green with white dots on them, what is this some alien organism?! NEVER seen anythin like this anywhere, algae? (shouldn't be no light getting in the res). Can anyone help me out here?! Thanks much!

Normal, turning green from being exposed to the air so much. White dots are good, more roots a comin!

On second look, I notice the browning starting to happen. Pythium mold (root rot) is what I would guess. Empty your nute solution, fill with fresh water and 1/2 ounce of H2o2 (hydrogen peroxide) per gallon. It's not the best solution but it should do the trick. After feeding with the h2o2 your plants may droop HEAVILY, it's normal and should return to a perky state within an hour or so. After this go right back to nutrients.

Make sure your water temps are a bit lower than what is reccomended for regular hydro. I would say around 75F is ideal. Colder temps doesn't give the Pythium a chance to develop.

Thanks for respondin I would have guessed that was some kind of algae or something. Any second opinions on it? Once again, never seen anything like it before and it don't look so good.

It's not pythium, I dealt with that earlier in the grow. Roots are actually really white, pic doesn't show it in full. Flora nutes and liquid karma stained the roots a little bit, but no root rot res smells like fresh cut lettuce.

Karma will do that, that shit is dark!!! Why aren't you using floralicious? It's pretty much karma, but a lot cheaper.

I've had that happen to almost every plant I've done in aeroponic setups. It really happens when the roots get larger than a 1/8 inch around.

Man I just don't feel comfortable giving that kinda info out on a weed growing site lol. I tried to change my name from peteman to somethin else cause I use that all over the place, but no go here no name changes apparently. My name is pete I'll give ya that lol.

I'm sure floralicious would work too, but tired of throwing down cash for more additives. Stopped usin that karma stuff anyways cause it was causin problems w/ my sm-90. Does anyone think that my roots AREN'T normal? Should I be worried?

its from the air so close to the top... they start to turn green like the stem. The stem is basically a root with bark.... you get the idea

Yea just the look of it put me off guard. Was like, what the fu** is THAT! Looks evil...

I actually have bigger problems to worry about then weird looking roots. Roots actually look and smell fine except for that weird ass green spots on some of em but let's hope it doesn't effect them.

Leaves are getting some spots, very dark green, but I guess that is grounds for a new post, eh! Thanks Smokey, I hope Peter Coleman doesn't enter your house while your sleeping! Sounds like a creepbag.

Bump, I have since realized that Smokey is a moron and knows absolutely nothing about growing and probably has no grows under his belt.

Anyone else, what's up with these roots? It seems to be spreading??
