Green Planet's Medi One, without the supplements

My local store is selling Green Planet nutrients now. Their Medi One is advertised as a one-part organic nutrient that works in coco, beautiful! Except that the feed chart for their one-part feed system included five bottles, and in the middle of flowering medi-one only makes up 12.5% of the volume of nutrients added. I'm not buying five bottles. I'd rather just get a sack of maxi bloom if it comes to that.

But I'm wondering if I can run it with just a PK Booster (or a bloom fertilizer if I'm worried about micros, or their own 1-2-3 Massive Bloom). Anyone have experience running this as a one-part, or close to it?

It has everything the plant needs but it is not strong like maxibloom. Probably due to the organic part? I only used medi-one with super soil and fed the medi when I went into flower as a supplementitive measure. I've grown with medi-one in coco and it is not going to give you that great of results by itself because just comparing it to maxibloom numbers you will be feeding way less overall nutrients.

Little Ai breakdown for ya.

Key Differences:
  1. Total Nitrogen (N): MaxiBloom has a higher total nitrogen content (5.0%) compared to Green Planet Medi-One (4.0%).
  2. Nitrogen Sources: Green Planet Medi-One has a mix of nitrate nitrogen and other water-soluble nitrogen, while MaxiBloom specifies ammoniacal nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen.
  3. Phosphorus (P2O5) and Potassium (K2O): MaxiBloom contains significantly higher levels of available phosphate (P2O5) and soluble potash (K2O) compared to Green Planet Medi-One.
  4. Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg): MaxiBloom contains more calcium (5.0%) and magnesium (3.5%) compared to Green Planet Medi-One (0.95% calcium and 0.6% magnesium).
  5. Sulfur (S): Both fertilizers provide sulfur, but MaxiBloom has a slightly higher sulfur content (4.0%) compared to Green Planet Medi-One (2.0%).
  6. Iron (Fe): MaxiBloom contains chelated iron (0.1%), while Green Planet Medi-One provides non-chelated iron (0.08%).
  7. Derived from: The sources of nutrients in the two fertilizers are different. MaxiBloom derives its nutrients from various compounds, including ammonium molybdate, ammonium nitrate, and others, whereas Green Planet Medi-One uses fish protein hydrolysate, phosphoric acid, and other sources.
