Green Mountain Seeds

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread started for Vermontman's Green Mountain Seeds so I figured I would start one maybe.

I just picked up a few packs of Purple Satellite for next season, they are supposed to be a very early finishing sativa bred outdoors at high latitude. Apparently he has been working a Oaxacan line he pulled from a batch of mexican herb in 79' and bred it to a high altitude purple nepali. Sounds very interesting.

Anyone have any experience with these guys? Crossing my fingers, because some of the pics floating out there of the purple satellite are beautiful and was wondering if anyone in the Rollitup community has grown these out and would like to share some thoughts.

Well I ended up starting 7 seeds of Zacatecas Tribute (Big Sur Holly Weed x 79' Oaxacan). The plants are doing ok. I have been a bit neglectful of them I am not going to lie. But they are starting to show some pre flowers and I will be taking clones soon. They have beautiful purple stems that have a spectrum of smells from pine, sandalwood, incense and lime. I have high hopes for these. I was planning to start some purple satellite this summer but I didn't have time to start them due to a busy life. There isnt much documentation of this breeder here so I thought I would throw up some pics and log my progress for anyone interested. Oh, there is one ACE Congo fem hiding in there too. The only one without purple stems.

I grew out the Mountain Gold and the Pineapple Banana Bud. These strains HATE nitrogen. Just a heads up because when a sativa OD's they sure can go into a tailspin. The Pinapple Banana Bud didnt come close to living up to its name. More of raunchy cat piss finish that you can find in a sativa every now and then and the high is very stoney for a sativa. The Mountain Gold i will definitely grow again. Beautiful plant that smells like cotton candy when you rub against it. Not a bad high either after a decent cure. Pics below are cured Mountain Gold
