Green Crack with Go Green

Howdy RIU,

For this journal I'll be growing 4 green crack and 2 chem dawg under 300w of LED. The panel I'm using is a go green leds cree3070 chip set and I'll be using it in a 40"x40" tent with active intake and exhaust. The grow method of choice is a rock wool drip system. I am a long time HID guy so I'm excited to see what this new led tech can do.

Each clone has been placed in a Hugo block and right now I have them under 150w led which is the lights "veg mode." I also have the intake and exhaust off at the moment to keep the humidity and heat up while they root. Colorado is really dry in the winter.

It's been a week since transplanting and the clones look great. Really excited to test these genetics. I was told the green crack finishes in 54 days, which is awesome if the yield is right. Every time I open the tent to check-in I'm taken aback by how bright 150w of Cree3070 is. Compared to the 150w compact fluorescent that was in there beforehand, the led is blinding.

I also swapped out my big girl tent's 600w HPS for a gogreen as well. I have 3 Ghost of LeeRoy from rare dankness in there at the moment. They are in coco hempies. Unfortunately, due to a faulty ph meter and my lack of vigilance these ladies were hit with some lockout issues about a week ago. Right now they are in recovery but all new growth looks nice and healthy. They probably have another 2 weeks of veg before the flip.

Nice Chuck! I see you're using a flood table in the smaller tent? Rocking it the whole grow? What nutes, etc are you gonna be using? I'm starting a similar setup here in a few more weeks once my Skywalker OG comes down. Always nice to find people who are using similar setups ya dig?

I totally dig. Those are botanicare trays in there. I notched the corners so they hug the bars and give a little more stability to the tent. Yeah I'm going to rock it the whole grow. I just finished up a few runs with pots on the floor and it was killing my back. At the moment I'm running H&G coco base, calmag, and roots execrator. In flower I'll run H&G base, calmag, liquid koolbloom, then end with dry koolbloom and a 5 day flush.

We have roots! All the clones broke through the bottom of the rock wool this week so they will start being fed now. I'll give them a week or so to get a bit more situated then top them all. The rare dankness g.o.l. are spreading out nicely. This is my first attempt at a scrog and so far I dig it. I can tell the veg time will be longer than expected but it should pay off in the yield department. Really looking forward to tents full of colas.

Good to have you along Coco. These lights are pretty sweet right? The girls sure do love them. I topped the green crack and chem today and placed them in their final resting places. Ventilation and tent fan are now both turned on.

I'm loving the hell out of mine and the ladies are too! This is my first grow with them as my last grow was with a 150w HPS so I'm excited to see how much this one can yield in comparison :D
Just gotta wait until February for harvest

The little ones are nice and healthy and getting water every day now. I'm setting up their automatic drip system today. The big guys have filled the screen around 60%. They look hungry for nutes at the moment so I'll be triple dosing their 5 gallon top off. I'll throw them into flower next weekend.

Man, I just love rock wool. I forgot how fast they grow in it. The green crack and chem d got nipped and tucked yesterday. The net is up and training has begun. I really don't think they'll need anymore than another week before the flip at this point. I included a picture on how I train in rock wool. It's super simple and effective using just garden wire. The net in the rare dankness tent is almost full now and it will get flipped Saturday.

Both tents are now flipped to flower. The green crack tent is already packed except for the center aisle but it will fill in quick. The plants love the go green light. The growth rate is intense and the clones that have only ever been under the led are super hardy. I'm really excited to see what it can do in flower.

Going into week two of flower and the ladies are kicking ass. The smells are coming on strong and the Leeroy finally looks like it recovered from the lock out it experienced. The screen is filling in nicely in both tents.

How are you liking the light? How's the coverage in your tent? I'm strongly considering getting one, but kinda scared that these cobs could burn plants opposed to the 3-5 watt diodes where the plant couldn't basically kiss the light with no real I'll effects

I love the light and can't recommend it enough. The coverage is perfect for a 3x3' tent. Don't fear the cob. The more intense the light the more productive your plants will be. Essentially the choice between the 3-5w blurple and the cobs is a choice between a strong full spectrum light source or weak light source with only some of the spectrum cannabis uses. If your plant can touch the light without ill effect then it's probably not much more powerful than a compact fluorescent. The go green also has a 5 year warranty. Good luck finding a blurple company with the same. So overall, save yourself the disappointment down the line and go with a solid cob light like this gogreenleds model. They are great bang for your buck. Plants love them!

The ladies are loving life! Stinky, sticky and green. :bigjoint:Just cleaned up the undergrowth to make sure my tops get all the energy they could want. From those pulled branches I took monster cropped clones that should be rooted and ready for veg as soon as these girls go down. I've been traveling a lot for work so the canopy aren't as even as I'd like, but the plants don't care. All they care about is stacking that lovely buddha.

The green crack and chem both have trichs all over the fan leaves already and are starting to plump up. If the rare dankness tent looks a little empty, it's because I pulled the runt. It wasn't really up to par and was taking too much room away from the others.

Thanks for the input brotha! I think I'm def gonna pull the trigger in the near future... How high above the canopy do you hang with the best growth from these lights?
