Green Crack, AK48, & Afghan Kush x Yumbolt Flowering Now!

These plants were grown for 9 weeks in veg. under 600w MH. Topped and LST'd many times. Had some issues early and late in veg cycle, so they were set back a few weeks. As of right now they are doing great! Im using a 4x8 tent with one 600w MH and one 600w HPS for flowering. However, for the first 10-14 days Im going to leave them under the MH so they dont stretch as much. Then the next six weeks under both. While keeping each row of two constantly moving one spot every 3.5 days. So the plants can utilize both spectrums every week. Anyhow, here they are flowering Day 5:

where did you get that yumboldt? thinking of trying critical yumboldt.

Wouldn't mind trying that myself. So far the Afghan kush x Yumbolt have been super resilient. They are about 22" six days into flowering, up from 18". So not too much stretch in first week.

AK48 for myself at the moment as well. Grew Yumboldt Indica before and loved it. Amazing plant in DWC.

keeping MH for the initial switch seems interesting. Going to try that one for myself! cheers.

looking good,would like 2 see if they flower in 55 days,whats your lighting and how long did you veg for?

Cheers d7b! I agree using the MH and rotating them should be interesting. I hope the weight is still going to be there, only time will tell. My Ak48's are ALOT shorter than all the others. Im thinking ill get an ounce a piece from them. I like to underestimate so Im not disappointed when its Final Weigh-In time.

Thanks STL. I hope they finish around that time Ive got bills to pay June 1 . Im using two 600w MH/HPS in my 4x8 tent, one on each side. I grew all from seed and they germoinated on Feb. 1st. I flipped the lights on April 9th.

Thank you. Yeah I'm running two 600's. I started out doing the MH in one side of the tent for the first 14 days. The penetration was just so much better under the hps I went ahead and bought another hps bulb. The bulb I bought was just an El cheapo sunleaves optilume. In terms of yield, I'd like 24+ oz. I have 10 plants in 3 gallon pots which I cut the bottom out while they were in veg. And added another gallon or so. I also have two that are in 1 gallon pots tucked in there somewhere. I keep the lights around 12in. above the canopy on both sides of the tent. Thanks for checking my setup out!
