Im in a bit of a pickle. When I changed from veg to flower, my timer was fucked so it never actually changed. Now Im like a week of schedule. Basically what it boils down to is I either cut my plants at week 8 (apparently 9 weeks is ideal) or let it go the 9 weeks but dry and cure in a week.

I go away boxing day and my buds are coming with me. What would you do? Are there any decent methods of drying and curing in a week?

Any help would be great...

Peace

if you want good weed man, you have to let the plant finish and you have to cure correctly, rushing wither of these will get you lesser results. but if you absolutely have to id go with cutting early and curing for 2 weeks. youll get an up lifting high and you budz will be cured properly.

If you water cure, you can dry & cure in 7 days.

Place newly chopped buds in a mason jar with a perforated top. Fill the jar with water, up to the top, and if needed place something in the jar to hold the buds underneath the surface of the water. Everyday you change the water in the jar, by tipping it over and releasing the water through the perforated top then filling it with new water.
After 7 days you can remove the buds and air dry them in 12 hours - 2 days.

You'll lose all the taste, the smell, but the high will be the same... but on the plus side: if you're going driving somewhere, it reduces the weight of the buds by like an additional 15% compared to air drying.

If possible, just let the plants go the full 9 weeks. Your plants should be dry within a week (or you could build a dryer and dry them in 3-4 days), you can then start them curing just before they go with you. Unless there is some reason they couldn't continue to cure a bit, I think that is probably your best bet.
